First off, Michael showed up exactly on time, 8:00 AM. He was friendly and courteous. I had a possible short in one of my electrical circuits which he quickly diagnosed and determined that the circuit was fine. Then he quoted installing a sub-panel in my basement. I accepted the bid, he left and was back within an hour with all parts needed. He then installed the sub-panel and was finished by 12:30. In addition to doing great work, he left the place spotless, no cleanup for me. He also spent a lot of time making suggestions about the electric in my basement in regards to finishing the basement. He even rough quoted some of that work so I had an idea of costs when I get to that point. All in all, I would highly recommend Michael and I would certainly hire him again.
We are very pleased with the service provided. The reason the microwave keeps tripping is because the circuit is not able to carry the load and needs to be upgraded. However, the cost to do that is more than we can afford at this time and Michael did not try to pressure us into getting it done. He explained that the tripping is not dangerous but eventually the circuit will just quit working. He did a safety check thoughout the house. He was on time, professional and certainly earned the $75.00 we paid him.
,""FOR EXAMPLE, REPLACING A GCFI OUTLET WAS $230/OUTLET, IF I REMEMBER. IF HE JUST NEEDS TO REPLACE THE OUTLET, YOU OVERPAY." THIS IS NOT CORRECT....THERE WAS NO POWER AT THE GFCI OUTLET DUE TO THE MEMBER USING A RENTED HEAVY DUTY FLOOR SANDER AND THE WIRING "OLD BX CABLE" HAD TO BE TRACED OUT THROUGH THE LOWER BATH ROOM AND BASEMENT IN ORDER TO REPAIR THE OPEN CIRCUIT. THIS WAS NOT JUST REPLACING THE GFCI OUTLET. THANK YOU KINDLY."
