MCMAHON MOVERS INC

While I appreciate the fact that McMahon Movers has agreed to repair our furniture I am doubtful they would do the same for others in the same position. I base this opinion on the action of their claims person who seemed far too eager to confront and ignore as opposed to listen and assess. There were several circumstances that conspired against an independent party accepting McMahon Movers position and I believe that led them to accept our position. A couple words of advice; make sure to review the insurance section and how to handle information during the move, claims, and follow the letter of the law or you could regret it later. One other suggestion, I recommend video taping all furniture & possessions being moved prior to the move (in bright light) to show the condition of all pieces. 1 hour of pre-work could have saved us a lot of grief. Also note there were no complaints on the BBB site or Angie's List for McMahon Movers prior to our move.
