Only charged $20 to remove my husband's hard drive so we could dispose of it, and only $50 to transfer all of my precious data off my hard drive and then remove it.  Fantastic service, really nice guy who always answers the phone!  Plus, of course, really good at what he does.

Turned on my desk top last weekend. The computer would not boot. The start button flashed orange and beeped. Did the usual unplugged and reconnected everything. Still got the same result. Checked out Angie's List and came across K S Computers. The reviews were favorable. I liked the fact you could drop off your machine at the convenient down town Crystal Lake store. Around noon, on Monday, Dec. 16, I gave them a call and explained the problem. Asked if i could drop off the computer. Was told to come in. Dropped it off about an hour or so later. Kevin told me he would call either later that afternoon or the next day. Since I had numerous errands to run the next day, I gave them a call the next morning. He had diagnosed and explained the problem but wanted to run other tests to make sure there were no other issues. I went about my errands and returned home around 4:45 pm. Had a message my computer was ready for pickup. It said the price and I could pick it up, they would be open till 6:00 pm. Picked it up and set it up. It works perfectly. Listening to music and writing this review on it, right now, If you are looking for prompt, reliable service, at a reasonable price checkout K S Computers.

He was going to fix it from his computer but couldn't something about me not knowing the password so I had to bring the computer in he would have picked it up but I had to go to Crystal Lake so I dropped it off picked it up next morning.

Kevin's upfront knowledge made me feel comfortable leaving my laptop in his hands. I was very impressed with the repair that Kevin provided to restore the screen of my laptop. He had to spend some extra time on it, but stood by his estimate. His repair shop was conveniently located and had flexible hours. I will look to Kevin ithe future should I need computer repair.

He did a great job. He was even able to recover all my files from a crashed hard drive.

Over all, I have been very satisfied with his services. I had some difficulty finding and arranging the data that was originally transferred from the old computer, but this has been resolved and the computer now works very well. I will use his service in the future if needed.

When my computer would not boot, I first brought it to a national computer service. (Think 'G**k S***d). They had it for a week and all I got when I inquired was that they were running diagnostics. I finally picked it up in the morning and brought to KS after finding positive reviews on Angies list. It was fixed in four hours. Everything was explained to me about the repair including them having to fix some bent pins on the motherboard. The computer now works fine

I had used this service once before, and was pleased with their work. This time my computer was running extremely slow, to the point of being almost usless. I took the computer into their shop and explained the symptoms, and left the computer with them. They called the following day saying repairs on the computer were completed, and I could pick it up that afternoon. After a final adjustment the next day the computer worked perfectly. I am very satisfied with their work and I would not hesitate to use them again.

It went smoothly and quickly. He called promptly about everything and the work was done faster than I expected, after getting estimates from other repair services. It was much cheaper and much faster and it works! Absolutely satisfied.
