Brian was pleasant on the phone and said he'd be out in a few hours; he actually made it a little earlier (called to let me know he was on his way).  As soon as he got here, he put shoe covers on his feet (those little things are indications of what kind of service you can expect).  He was able to diagnose the problem within 5 minutes, but stayed for about an hour looking over the rest of our system for us.  The basic problem was something that we could fix ourselves rather than pay him to do it.  He put a temporary fix in place to get the heat back on until we can fix the issue on our own (much cheaper).  We had a bad installation with this unit 7 months ago, so he did an overall inspection and found some things that could be corrected (by us, rather than pay him) and advised on what to do and how to do it.  He gave us a sample of some piping to take to the hardward store to purchase so we'd get the right items.  This easily could have been a service costing a few hundred dollars, but to my surprise, Brian did not charge us for even the trip out.   Due to the horrible experience with another company on the installation and the continuing nightmares, he cut us a much-needed break (we've lost money & sleep over this new unit).  He reminds me of Mike Holmes (HGTV).  I was very impressed with his knowledge and professionalism, but the customer service was over the top!  Brian is our HVAC guy going forward and I would highly recommend him to anyone I know.   I'm so relieved to have found a qualified HVAC tech that I feel I can trust.  It's refreshing to see that there are still company's out there that just do the right thing for the customer.  Brian is the owner of this company, so I can assume that the company as a whole is run with this high work ethic!
