BECMAR SPRINKLER SYSTEMS

Had the worst experience I had ever had with any company I had ever hired. The straw that broke the camel's back They came to certify my RPZ system AFTER I had hired another company to do it because I could not get them to show up. Even though it was a tag stating that the system had been certify they billed me for services. Long after that I got a letter telling me that they did not want me as a client

They came to install our sprinkler system and everything seemed to go fine, until I began to find issues with the system and adjustments that are required. The post installation service is non existent and the warranty is worthless. They take no responsibility for their installation errors that they make nor do they honor their work when something is discovered that was done incorrectly. To start, the actual installation looks nothing like the plan they provided. The sprinkler zone map provided upon completion was incorrect. The system doesn't fully provide full sprinkler coverage of my lawn. They installed a lawn sprinkler head in a bed zone. I made the mistake of hiring them again to add the 21st zone to my system. I should have learned my lesson the first time. It went just like the original installation. They came to do the installation and everything looked fine initially. After further inspection, I came across a small stream going through my yard. They left the new pipe open with a hole in the ground and water gurgling up from the ground like a spring. They also only installed a 25 foot section of pipe 2-2.5 inches under the ground. This is unacceptable for anyone that wants to aerate their lawn! Let alone the sprinkler coverage is not sprinkling all the bushes in the new bed. Upon reporting the issues, they quickly denied any responsibility and claimed someone else damaged the system. They repeatedly refused to fix the system. They denied my requests to finish the job properly and wouldn't even come inspect the system for problems I cited. I requested to speak or meet with the owner of Becmar on a about 6 separate occasions. She has refused to speak to me or meet with me. She will only communicate with email banter and continues to deny any responsibility before even speaking to me, inspecting the work, or having someone else come to see the problems. This company has the worse service of any company I have encountered. After several weeks, they finally sent someone to look at the my yard and saw the problems. I asked don't you want me to turn the system on so you can see how its not working. They responded "no that won't be necessary, we will get back to you tomorrow". I was hopeful, but they just sent another email saying they are not responsible and they are not obligated to fix my system. They don't care that my system doesn't adequately sprinkle my lawn and they don't stand behind their work! They still have not fixed one problem reported. Oh, and watch out for their pricing practices. They'll try and overcharge you for material and use ridiculous markups. I have moved on a hired another sprinkler company.
