About us

Founded in the 1950's, the company has remained within the family since beginning. In July of 1992, Bruns Septic opened it's doors after David bought the service end of the company. Since then, nearly all of the employees have been a member of the family. Presently, if you call you will talk to David on the phone, and be serviced by brother Jeff or son Sean. Due to the small size of the company, we have been able to keep prices down while providing some of the best service available. Our prices are comparable to nearly everybody in the area. On some jobs, though, we subcontract work because we are busy or we don't have sufficient equipment. If it is subcontracted, we will be with you to make sure it is done right and up to our standards.

I was told the problem was most likely the burner assembly and the cost would be $185.  Jeff came out and decided that it was the ignition switch.  He did not have the item on his truck and would need to go and get one.  He was gone the rest of the day.  He finally returned and replaced the switch, but said it would be the same price since" he had to go to three different places to find it". Unfortunately, that was just the beginning of the problems.  The water heater continued to have the same issues, not staying lit.  I called and informed them of this the next day. Jeff said he would return at 8:30 a.m. He never showed up and stated that he had just plain overslept. This is now May 15 and after several appointments that were no-shows and not answering or returning phone calls I was informed that in their opinion it was fixed before and there would be the same charge to return!  Stay away from this company!!
