Started August 2016. Tear down and construction went pretty well. debris was cleaned up really well. Railings were not attached to the posts like the original porch but were placed in front of them but I can live with that. Wood needed to cure before painting. had 13 spindles fall out of the railing as they were not attached in any way. Many more were easily removed by hand - no screws or nails except on the slanted railings for the stairs. Did not come back until May 2017. Had him remove concrete steps and build wooden steps. Used 1x6 for the treads but did not put enough stringers underneath to provide support, only on the sides and middle. Span too far apart and the steps sag and give when you step on them. Bottom tread is only attached on the sides. Spindles were removed for painting and they were brought back. My paint was not returned. Deck, posts, and stairs have not been stained/painted and mildew is forming on the wood. Have two phone numbers for Mr. Burney but when I call I get a message that "the person you are trying to reach is not available, please try again later". Cannot locate the man and it is more than a year and my porch is left in poor condition and unfinished.
Description of Work: I needed my front porch torn down and rebuilt
