Two Men and a Truck - Collinsville

Poorly. Three items damaged, in my opinion due to back packing and organization in the truck. One item, a very high end Henredon bed side board incurred a very visible gash. They worked very hard to down play the damage and assume the position of determining whether the item is destroyed or repairable through snapshots from the drivers cell phone. I've used them previously and had damage that needed repair from their "expert". The result was less that desirable so that's totally unacceptable in this particular instance to the bed. I made that clear so their offer was to pay $150 for the damage. It will cost me dearly to replace this component, if it's at all possible. The offer of $150 was offensive. I'd never use this service again or trust them with fine furnature. I found other damage after the movers left that they had to have seen or known about. The guys who get paid to handle these issues have no authority and are simply reading from a script. I'm sure I signed something agreeing to limit their liability so shame on me. I'm sure they have insurance but you'll pay **** getting equitable resolve. Run don't walk from this potential bad experience

They called and arrived when they said they would. They were courteous and did a great job for us. I would definitely hire them again and recommend to others.

Addie in the office was very polite, friendly and helpful when calling for info and then booking my move. The guys that performed my move were as well. The truck was clean, my furniture was wrapped in clean moving blankets and plastic, and a runner was placed to protect my new floors. I would definitely recommend, and while I hope to never move again, I will used them again if I do.

There were two movers.  They gave us an estimate which ended up being accurate, which we appreciated.
The problem is that they didn't get all our stuff, and only half filled the truck.  I wasn't there (I was at work), but my mother and father-in-law were present at the barn end, and my brother (who owns the warehouse) was present at that end, and all commented that the truck was only filled waist high.  My brother said that part of the problem might have been that they didn't have a lift-gate, and it got harder to stick boxes in the truck, and then climb up and stack them.  The family at the loading end said that one of the movers commented that they had another place to be after doing our job, and I suspect that perhaps that was the reason for the lack of attention paid to getting everything on the truck.
Bottom line is that we paid almost $1000 and now we still have to rent a truck to go pick up the rest.  Very disappointed.  The "C" rating for price is purely because we paid to have it all moved, and the job wasn't done (and could have been).  If they had packed and moved everything I would have been fine with the cost.

The men were on time, did the move professionally, and were polite.  At delivery, the person receiving the merchandise said they "need a raise."

The move went better than I could have expected. The two gentleman that showed up were almost unnervingly polite. The whole week had been pretty and that day was 100 degrees. They packed up the first house quickly and moved things into the second house just as quickly. With an entire house moved, I only noticed a small scratch on one dresser. Even as hot as it was, they asked permission for a 15 minute break and then didn't charge for it when we would have gladly paid. They were highly recommended to us by friends/family who had used them. We would highly recommend them to anyone and use them if we ever had to move again.

All of the guys were very nice and professional. They took very good care of our items. I felt our best interests were their priority. This is the second time we have used Two Men and a Truck in Collinsville. They have been great both times.

These guys (Josh, Mike, and Dillion) were awesome!!! The estimate was for 2 guys, but they sent 3, saving a lot of time, which was very beneficial for me, since I was paying for their time! (In 1/4 hour increments). They loaded the truck so every bit of space was utilized! Not an inch wasted! They even brought tools and disassembled furniture and reassembled it at no extra cost to me......"just part of the job"! At the new location, there was a tight corner downstairs, so they took off the banister, moved the furniture down and around the corner, then put the banister back up! Genius! One room was a particular problem, like fitting a 6 foot desk through a 2 1/2 foot door, but they did it! When it appeared that there was no way it was going to fit, they kept trying and made every attempt until they made it work! These guys are obviously very experienced at what they do. It was like watching poetry in motion, knowing exactly when to dip, duck, turn, etc., almost like dancers! (Sorry, guys, but that's a compliment!) Dina was very helpful in making the arrangements, going over the estimate in detail, making follow-up phone calls, etc. The guys arrived exactly when they said they would, got to work immediately, and worked non-stop until I finally insisted that they take a break, and of course the very few minutes they took was deducted from the time I was charged. They were very courteous, conscientious, and a pleasure to work with. I hope I never have to move again, but if the situation should arise, I will not hesitate an instant to call them again!

They're wonderful. They get there on time, they confirm when they're coming, they are very flexible in what they'll move and what they won't....very agreeable and helpful. They get an A...they're great.

They do a good job. They had some cosmetic damages to our furniture.

The overall move went well. Although the job only required moving my household items from one unit to another and no truck or driving was involved, it was complicated because my tenant was simultaneously moving from one unit to another. I was essentially swapping locations with my tenant so there were quite a few people involved.

After 1/2 hour the lead person informed me the job had been estimated as 2 hours but he anticipated it would be more like 4 hours given the amount of stuff I had. They were also moving items up a flight of stairs and it was one of the hottest days of summer. He called his office to see if he could arrange for a 3rd mover to speed up the move. Instead the office provided a new team of 2 men who then completed the job. It only took 2.5 hours so the total move was very close to the original estimate. All the movers were courteous and professional. They had to work around my tenant's friends and family who were helping him with his simultaneous move but it was all coordinated.

They helped me move in August 2010. I got rid of a lot of stuff because we were combining households. They were two young men and they were very polite. They were very professional and they absolutely knew what they were doing. They had tools which helped me when I needed to take anything apart. I was very satisfied with them. I was involved in moving several large offices and out of which this was a much smaller scale. They were younger men and they were just very professional. Their price was reasonable. It was a little bit more complicated because I had them move some stuff to where I'm living now and I had them move some stuff to my brother's house. They had to load the truck with everything and they loaded it in a manner that the stuff that was going to the later place was in the back of the truck. They did everything just as quickly as they could. I don't exactly remember the cost of this but I do know that they gave me an estimate of what it was going to be. When I had to finally pay the bill it was less than their estimate.

I liked their services. The cost was great and they were good workers.

Arrived early and finished early - everything went perfectly and workers could not have been more professional.

They were fine, but their practices and cost was unsatisfactory. They charge by an hour and they were lost for about 2 hours. They doubled charged me, for something which was not my fault. I will not use their services in future.
