+ 1 moreWe hired Mr. Shawn Humphrey the owner of this company in February to do repairs to our home, we had suffered a fire damaging the majority of the home. Mr. Humphrey assured us he could do the work, had us sign a contract and got $18,000.00 of our insurance funds. He then purchased a new truck, stopped returning our phone calls, avoided us and gave us lame excuses when he did speak with us. We eventually were able to reach his parents who actually live at 102 St Anthony and they were unable to tell us anything except he had disappeared a month or so before. We filed a police report and turned him into the State's Attorney but now it seems that he has just changed his business name and is still using his parents address. The phone number listed is no longer a working number as well as his previous phone number. Because of his actions we did not have enough money to have the home repaired and lost it.
Description of Work: Was hired to do home repairs in excess of $60,000.00...........he performed no work before he ran off with $18,000.00
