Contractor suggested removing a deteriorated wooden wall in the basement and relocation of the washer hookups and electrical to the outside wall. Removed the wall didn't relocate plumbing or wiring left dangling. Two coats of waterproofing were applied to the basement walls but contractor did not prep properly and mold, water stains and bubbled paint bled through looking awful. Contractor stripped off laminate from kitchen cabinets but didn't remove the adhesive, sand or prep surface, the paint looks rough, streaked and is tacky to the touch after 4 days of drying. Walls were streaked and the wrong type of paint used (flat water based paint over washable), not corrected after pointing out "thin" spots and can see where roller left off. Baseboards that were present were poorly painted, trim and doors covered in hand/finger prints and soiled when rehanging. Several doorknobs improperly re-installed and unusable. Bathroom medicine cabinet left on the floor not reinstalled. Ceilings look awful, patches of textured but not well mixed and very unevenly applied. The list goes on but you get the idea. We paid 50% down with balance due upon completion but tired after a full month of not getting it done completely and cut ties. Offered to pay the balance of the contracted amount but he refused and demanded "extra" for removal of the wall and shower stall although he didn't remove the plumbing for the shower stall and destroyed them completely (making it impossible to re-attach. Poured paint/cleaned brushes and rollers in kitchen sink and the garbage disposal, which I pulled out by handful. Took upon himself to dispose of folding table, shelf and workbench. Would NOT recommend. IF you choose to give this company a chance (and throw your money away) you may wish to do a Google search first, we sure wish we had!!
