We hired JG Construction & Painting to paint and perform various handyman projects throughout our house. John and his crew were professional, prompt, courteous and above all, fantastic painters and handymen! I would not hesitate to hire JG Construction for any future painting, etc. again and give this company a 5 star rating. Very pleased with the work done. Super nice person doing the work. Did a great job and cleaned up afterwards. It has been a while and both jobs are working well. Would definitely refer them to others.

John and Rob make a good team. I have previously used them to do work around the house without any dissapointments. They have conquered simple tasks like hanging pictures to pouring concrete along the side of the house. I am pleased with their quality of work and ethic. They have completed a variety of jobs within the past 3 years without any hesitation and I have no complains. My dog, Eva, loves them. John and Rob have become part of this family. Thank you guys!

What a great experience..John was more than fair on the price and flexible with adding additional jobs as we saw how well things were looking. John was a complete professional and did quality work. I would not hesitate to recommend him to others.

Given that this was the first job that John and his colleague Rob completed for my family, and we have already requested their services for two other jobs in the weeks since, you may imagine that I cannot recommend John's company highly enough. I had three different quotes for this job, and John's estimate was the most reasonable by far. He had to work within a lot of constraints of the situation due to us having a five day window between two closing dates (the home bought, then the home sold), and an additional few days before most furniture was delivered. There was the additional limitation that he could only see the home once before its closing date, giving me the initial quote via the MLS data and my descriptions. He made an intelligent plan of work, room by room, level by level, with all popcorn removal finished before any painting, with the upper level (bedrooms) totally completed before our closing day, and the main level then completed before the furniture arrived. His plan also allowed me to postpone decisions on some parts of the home about whose colors I had some initial uncertainty. And, he stuck with the plan so well that the whole work was completed in six days. The result is beautiful. In addition to the excellent work, I want to emphasize that John is great with the following: keeping within time constraints, flexibility, and understanding what the client wants.

That went just fine. The man did a good job and did some other work for us. We had him do some work in a house we own. We were very pleased with his work. The price he told me was because it was a slow time for him, in fact, he did it the day after we initially talked. I put it out there and he called me back in like 2 hours and was over here the next morning. We have been very pleased overall. We did use him again.

John was able to schedule the work soon after being contacted.  He arrived right on time and completed the needed projects quickly and competently.  Would recommend this company for all types of handyman services.

If you feet you have a difficult or odd job that you think cannot be done, don't sweat it, call John. He is a honest professional, sure he is not cheap but you get what you pay for, someone that knows what he is doing and not afraid to take on a challenge. He came out to look at the job, took measurements, then texted me with a quote. I agreed to the amount and I mailed him a check as a deposit for supplies. He kept me informed of when he had ordered the glass. Once glass arrived we set up a date for him to come out to do the job. He took care of my "honey do list" that my husband kept postponing, I told him he saved a marriage. Let me tell you in this day in age a trustworthy worker that does not need babysitting is worth their weight in gold. I was impressed with his carpentry talent and how smoothly and stress free everything went.  Thank you John and Scott; Eva, my dog, is looking forward to seeing you guys on our next project.

Very professional. Did a good job and quick

John responded and completed the job quickly.  It was a small job, but completed as agreed.  I would use again.

John Galvin responded to my inquiry in less than a day, and was able to schedule the work.  On the assigned day, John and his assistant showed up promptly and started on the list of projects.  They worked hard and had to endure extreme heat for the work being done in the garage.  You can count on John to do a quality job at a very reasonable price.  I have used his services on previous projects and would not hesitate to do so again.

Very considerate, AWESOME

He was able to accomplish everything with minimal need for phone calls or visits to the house by me.   He was persistent in looking for reasonable priced solutions to problems; like finding a $300 fire door when original quote was around $1000 .    He had to source replacement parts for 45 year old windows and deal with other older house headaches.
County inspector signed off with no problems.   Buyer had 1-2 little things that required a second visit.   I attribute that to vagueness in punch list descriptions vs John's error.
He saved me and my sister a lot of headaches.

He was very courteous.  He came and gave an estimate and organized his schedule so that he could do the work quickly.  He was very neat and worked very efficiently.
