Warning! Do not use this company! Unreliable, untrustworthy, and unprofessional. I contacted LG on June 8th to repair an LG washing machine under extended warranty. LG forwarded the repair to Advantage Maytag (was not my choice). After a week of hearing nothing, I contacted LG again and they placed a follow-up with Advantage Maytag who finally showed up on June 24th. The technician said parts needed to be ordered. After a month, I followed up and the response was they are still awaiting parts. On August 6th, I received an email from LG that Advantage Maytag cancelled the repair. Now I am back to the beginning having wasted 2 months waiting for nothing with this worthless company. Reading other reviews, their customer service is horrible. Why Advantage Maytag is still in business is beyond me.

Again to reinforce what most of their reviews online have said - if I could give them negative stars I would. It took 1 week just to get a serviceman in to tell us it was a compressor problem on our 5 year old refrigerator. $75 for that service call but thankfully the compressor is still under warranty. They would order one for us and then we would have to make another appointment to fix. But they couldn't tell us when it would be in and they wouldn't set us up for the appointment. Over 3 weeks later we called to check on the part and were told that the part was never ordered due to someone's mistake. They didn't even apologize. 3 days later the part was miraculously in! But then we were told that it would be another week until they could fit us in to their schedule to install the part (which was going to be a $400 installation fee). I own a business. This is NOT how you do business with clients and customers. When you make a mistake you apologize, own it and make it right. It does not matter if their servicemen are full on their schedules. This is when the owner of the business steps in, does it himself, or pays one of his guys to work an extra shift that day because a valued customer has been without a refrigerator for a month due to his carelessness. Don't use this repair service - look at all the reviews - you have been warned.

The day Jim showed up, he required payment in full, over $250.00. I didn't see him again for over 4 months. I would call and see what was going on and they would tell me the part was back ordered or that the wrong part was sent. I finally looked it up online and told them that I could order it and magically, they said the part was due in that day. They scheduled an appointment for the repair and he never showed up. Finally, after 4 months and a day, he showed up and made the repair. He said that there would be a 2 year warranty on the part. It is about 5 months later and we are having the same problem. Warranty or not (it was just verbal so at this point who knows) I am calling someone else. I don't have the time or energy to chase people down to do the work that they were paid for.

Never showed on the day they were supposed to come.  When they finally showed, the repairman berated the installation my husband did for the dishwasher he was there to fix.  I informed him my husband worked with electricity for a living, and he laughed at me.  He got the dishwasher to drain again, but there was still a leak coming from it.  I called him out on this, and he messed around with it for a minute.  At this point, I was seconds away from asking him to leave.  Guess what?  There's still a leak.  He was very proud of getting the "smell of death" out of my dishwasher, though.  Maybe it wouldn't have smelled that bad if they would have shown up the day they were scheduled.

Thorough inspection and problem diagnosis.  We knew of a noise; he found problems with 3 components, and showed us the signs as he described the issues and costs to repair if we chose to do so.  We followed his recommendation to replace with an new appliance from a big-box store.

He was the only repair service that would come to look at my refrigerator. I called and emailed a number of others. They all said they were "too far away" (only 15 minutes away), didn't service my LG brand or could get back to me in two weeks. I was scheduled for repair four days from my call.
He unplugged refrigerator (the freezer was still working), took out shelves and panels, checked for air flow and discovered that after unplugging, the refrigerator had reset itself and began cooling again. He replaced all the shelves/bins in the refrigerator and freezer that he had removed. He did not charge me for any of the work, since nothing was replaced and no changes had been made on the appliance. I received an email the day before the scheduled repair. He called on repair day to tell me when to expect him, but was running about 1/2 hr behind, for which he apologized. Very courteous and I was pleasantly surprised there was no charge! I will remember that when looking for new appliances!

Our refrigerator/freezer was not working - it had power, it just would not cool nor would the water dispenser on the front work. They were able to send Steve out the same day and he quickly and easily diagnosed the problem as our control board. They had a replacement ready for us the next day. We have used Advantage Maytag multiple times over the years for appliance repairs, and will continue to recommend them to others. Highly recommended!

I already knew what the problem was. He took apart my dryer and named a few other thanks that were wrong. He insisted on contacting another contractor to fix the problem. He refused to leave without payment. I had to threaten to call the police to have him leave.

My refrigerator was not cooling. The technician was able to find the problem (a burned out starter) within 10 minutes. He replaced the starter and explained how to help the fridge/freezer cool down faster. He worked quickly and cleaned up when he was finished. I was very pleased with the service and the price was less than I anticipated.

They were just great. The guy who came is very personable and does not gouge you on prices. If he has to order parts he's pretty sure when it is going to be in and you don't have to wait 10 days for him to come back and install it. When he fixed my refrigerator he was in and out of here in an hour and a half. I will use them again in the future.

He's a little bit talky, he will want to sit down and talk. Otherwise he knows what he's doing and fixes it. He's very good and owns the business. I think he's cheaper than most but I'm not sure. He's always done a good job. He opened the dryer up and there were clumps in it that were wet and he also couldn't figure out why it was wet. He cleaned it all out real good and the last time he came he put hoses on last year. It sounds great now, it just whispers and you can barely hear it. They came right away and they came when they said they would come. He wasn't late and he's just a friendly guy. I have recommended him to my friends and son to use him.

We had a refrigerator in the garage and we didn't realize the compressor had gone down on it. Once the weather started warming up we lost a lot of food. We called them and they actually arrived the same day we called, about an hour and a half after we called. They were very professional and fixed it right away. I liked the fact that they were no non-sense and got the job done. The price was also fair. We found them through Angie's List, otherwise we would have not thought of calling them.

I called this company after I already had an appt with Sears Home Services. Sears could not come out for a week, so I called this company to see if they could come out sooner. They were available within 2 days of my phone call. The serviceman was on time, very polite, and very professional. Ironically, he (honestly) said that he could not find problems with either appliance - though he did find a sock caught in the washer. However, whatever he did worked, because the appliances did not work when he arrived and they worked (and still work) fine after he repaired them. I would use them again, and in fact are planning to call them this week as now we have a problem with our ice maker!
