One only need to oiling, the other need to have the entire movement taken out and rehab.

Terrific ! My wife put in new batteries in the clock but the chime was still off by three hours. I brought the clock in to be looked at. The gentlemen took the clock in the back and indeed it was the battery. However, when you replace the battery in the clock you need to set the clock to ten minutes to six. You never turn the clock hands counter clockwise. Once he did that the clock works perfectly ! The gentlemen gave me written directions for what to do when you change your clock's batteries. The batteries should be changed once a year. The best part is that he did not charge me for the service.

Everything was excellent - timeliness, results, courteous (you have them into your home, so you don't want just anyone). These guys are cheap, but you get what you pay for. I would definitely recommend them for this kind of work.

Great very proffessional and thourough

Fine. There are not a lot of providers for this service so it took a little while but they were upfront about that.

Went very well. The repair person showed up on time, and explained what he was doing. He gave me a tutorial on how to use my clock, which I had inherited from my grandmother.

They repaired it right on the spot. They were very efficient. They were very patient, cordial, and polite.

They came out to the house to repair our clock. They guy that came out knew what he was doing. He was professional, efficient, and worked quickly. He also gave us some good recommendations. An overall good experience.

They were expensive, but I wouldn't let anybody else to touch the clock. We would use them again as we have used them multiple times.

Excellent job - I'd give them more stars if possible. Right from the beginning there was good customer service - a call to tell me the time frame they were coming one business day prior to arriving. They then called the day of to let me know what time they would be there. Chris and his helper were extremely knowledgable. My clock was from a kit my father made years ago so it wasn't exactly a standard clock. Chris was able to put everything together but then the music wasn't playing every quarter. With persistence he was able to get it going along with hearing the hourly strikes. Chris didn't give up and I appreciate him trying to get it running, saving a trip from it having to be brought into the shop. I am so happy to have this going.

Sadly it couldn't be easily repaired. We had a choice of having the original clockworks taken out to be rebushed or buying a brand new clockwork by the original manufacturer. To be rebushed would take at least five months. To replace new would take three months but cost a little more. We decided to go with the new clockworks and are in the waiting process.

Took about 5 weeks longer than original time estimate but clock works beautifully.

Provider performed service as I waited. You can buy your own watch batteries but it is not advisable to open the watches yourself and replace, so I used these professionals which I believe charged a little bit more for the batteries but nothing outrageous.

Took several weeks for repair to bee completed , but clock has worked perfectly ever since.

Rich G. arrived on time to set up our grandfather clock. He took the time to explain in detail the operation of the clock and it's parts and mechanisms. He answered all our questions, thoroughly and very informatively.

We had a grandfather clock that had not run in years. They came and explained the options we had in getting it to run. We chose what we thought would keep our clock running for years. So far everything is running fine.

It took forever, but the clock is not is great working condition.

Excellent service! Clock was not running properly and both pendulum and chimes were out of sync. Service man (Rich) explained what was wrong and even instructed us on basic maintenance.

Loved these people. They really know time pieces and larger clock repair.

Dropped a clock off with a chime issue, a broken door latch, and was given a four month LATER pick up date. Picked up the clock AFTER FOUR MONTHS in their possession - to find the latch still not repaired, brought the clock home, still not chiming. Back in again for another two weeks. Seriously. Now working - but when I saw they were listed in my Angie's directory, I could not for the LIFE of me believe it.

My clock has not been used in many years. They were professional, passionate of their craft/skill and very courteous. The entire works needed repair and Chicago Clock knows what they are doing. Price seems high, but compared to friends, maybe I am not knowledgeable on this subject.
