A NIGHTMARE!!!! EVERYTHING THEY TOUCHED ENDED UP EITHER CROOKED, BROKEN, WRONG OR UGLY. A FEW EXAMPLES: THE ROOFLINE IS NOT LEVEL, THEY DIDN'T BUILD TO THE BLUEPRINTS, (THIS COST US $600 EXTRA DOLLARS IN CONCRETE WORK) AND LEFT US WITH NO AIR INTAKE FOR THE ROOF VENTILATION SYSTEM. THEY DIDN'T PUT EAVES IN AS THE BLUEPRINTS CALLED FOR (THIS PROBLEM, UNLESS FIXED WILL SHORTEN THE LIFE OF THE SHINGLES AND LEAD TO DRY ROT AND LEAKING IN THE ROOF. WE ARE STILL NOT SURE HOW TO FIX IT, SHORT OF SPENDING ANOTHER $5000 TO HAVE THE ROOF RIPPED OFF AND REBUILT.) THE STAIRS THEY BUILT WERE SO UNSTABLE THAT WE COULD FIND NO ONE TO FIX THEM, ONLY RIP THEM DOWN AND REBUILD. CAPRICE DIDN'T USE THE MATERIALS WE ASKED FOR, BUT ODD SCRAPS BROUGHT FROM OTHER JOBS. HALF THE TIME THE SUBS (WHO DID ALL THE WORK) STOOD AROUND WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO BRING MATERIALS. WHEN WE FINALLY FIRED THESE CLOWNS, THEY SENT US A BILL (WE DIDN'T PAY) FOR $6000 MORE (DOWN TIME) AND THREATENED TO PUT A LIEN ON US.
Description of Work: NEW ROOF ON WHOLE HOUSE, TORE SHED ROOF OFF, ENCLOSED PORCH, BUILT CATHEDRAL CEILING, BUILT NEW STAIRS TO PORCH, AND DID INTERIOR REMODELING OF PORCH.
