TURNER CERAMIC TILE

Normally this company only installs commercial floors, but they had listed remnant tile lots online. It was an awesome price and they are located near me. They miscalculated how many boxes I'd paid for, and I ended up nearly 5 boxes short when the job was in process. I was not impressed with that, at it did create a little turmoil, but when I pointed it out, they worked it out themselves with no hassles. They had calculated 15 tiles in a box but there were only 11 in a box. I asked them for installation, and they recommended Marshall, one of their employees. This was a side job for him as they don't do residential. Marshall is clean-cut, polite and was able to fit me into his schedule quickly. I had a little trouble communicating details with him, (prices) but I was happy with his bottom-line quote per foot, which he said would include the grout. He came 3 times, once to measure and double check MY math, once to lay the tiles (he brought a helper that day), and once to finish/grout. I didn't have to run around at all, because Marshall brought the color charts with him on the day he laid the tiles, and brought the grout with him on finishing day. He uses commercial quality grout which I appreciated learning the difference between that and the usual lumberyard stuff. He did have to re-schedule once, but it worked out with my schedule, fortunately and did not delay the scheduled day of completion. I was very pleased with his work, and when we discovered the tile shortage, he picked the rest of the tiles up and was able to complete the job as originally scheduled, by using quick-set mortar on those last few rows. From the day I bought the tiles to the day of completion, was only 1 week. Marshall told me I could pass his name on if I knew someone who needed tile installation.
