I found Sam too chatty and opinionated on topics not relevant to why he was there.

Our experience with this company was fine.  They were really good.  The demeanor of their staff was very nice.  Price wise they were average, same as everybody else.

Dug hole 01/01/2013, set footings 01/02/2013, set walls 5' high 8" thick 01/03/2013, framed 01/09/2013, wired, foamed, dry walled, moved in 01/19/2013.

We called 4 different Highly Rated Insulation Companies that are listed here on Angie's List. Either they didn't contact us or we didn't feel that they truly lived up to their reputation. We simply didn't have faith in these other companies after researching them and calling friends. So after reading about Illiana Insulation we contacted them and immediately spoke with Sam the owner of Illiana Insulation. Sam and his Supervisor Bud are some of the nicest and most professional people you will ever speak with. They scheduled our bathroom insulation project the same day as another in order to save my retired parents the trip fee..(very considerate) They were not only prompt to their scheduled time, but showed up early!!!(Awesome!!)
The entire crew was respectful of my parents, their property, and our bathroom construction project, prepping the walls before and after foam insulating it, so we could apply the green drywall without any problems. You just don't see this type of detai-orientated craftsmanship any more these days.. Illiana truly cares about their work,their customers, and their reputation!!!!! These guys will go the distance to make a job done right!! They treat you and your property like you are part of their family..
To sum it all up: They are honest, perfectionist, craftsmen, respectful, and detailed-oriented. You would be crazy to hire another company to insulate your property. We highly recommend Illiana Insulation Inc!! You will be pleased with their professionalism too!!

I don’t remember how much they estimated the job would be because it was all different parts.  Overall, I had a pretty good experience with them.  I was happy with how they went about in giving me the estimate.  I would have them out again in the future for an estimate.

Living in the Champaign area, I called a good portion of the local insulation companies, none of which do spray foam. I was given Illiana Insulation's # from another company here in town, and I called them. Sam was right on top of coming out to get me an estimate. His guys were out about a week later to do the job. The guys that showed up to do the job were extremely professional, thorough in their work, going as far as redoing a couple of areas that they "just weren't really happy with the way it turned out", making sure it was right. I don't know the first thing about this stuff, and they could have easily left it, and I wouldn't have known the difference, but they went out of their way to make sure it was right. When they were completed, they cleaned up the area, that my wife made the comment to me that "it is cleaner now that it was before they got here". I can't say enough good things about this company, and the professionalism of their staff. I am recommending them to all of my family and friends. I will definitely have them out again for any insulation work that I need done.
