interior painters
 + -1 moreI cannot say enough good things about Mr. Martinez. He is prompt. He is courteous. He is clean. He is precise. He demands perfection from himself & that translates to us as very happy homeowners with a gorgeous home. For us the big thing is, if Rogelio's not happy, he knows his customer won't be happy. So his standards are a very high bar indeed. We moved back to Chicago from New Jersey. We had a home similar in size and paid much more for similar work on the interior of that home, with far less atisfaction. Our job entailed, painting ceilings white, all trim and window casements white, all doors primed & painted white, painting all interior walls & closets. Multiple areas of drywall repair. Replacing old door handles with new. Replacing old door hinges with new. Our job has taken 2 full months (we had to stop painting a couple times to have our floors refinished & a final coat at a later date). We purchased all the paint at Sherwin Williams for Mr. Martinez. This gentleman is one of the best painters we have come across in our 25 years as homeowners who are forever painting.
Description of Work: Rogelio painted the interior of our home. This home was a gut rehab in 2003 by previous owners. They had painted the ceilings & walls all the same color, a brutal yellow throughout and one room that was olive. And I mean ceilings, closets & all! There were in-wall speakers that had to be removed & patched, there were other multiple issues with dry wall repairs, etc. We had a stairwell wall removed & new stairway railings, banisters installed that had to be painted. All the trim work, doors had been left natural by the previous owners. Rogelio primed & painted all the window casements, trim, doors, every wall, all baseboards, closets, ceilings and two huge transome windows. Rogelio took his painter's pallet to our home and literally gave it new life! He can "cut" with laser like precision. We had worked with Mr. Martinez on smaller jobs at our previous condo and it was his attention to detail, his caring & pride about his work that set him apart from other painters we had worked with in the past.
