7-11 Plumbing and Sewer Service

The job was done efficiently and was not as costly as another estimate that I had. I have used the sink for a couple of months now and have not had any problems with draining or leaking. Overall, I would recommend 7-11 Plumbing and Sewer, and I would use them again.

I think Jim did a very good job. He was very personable. I did make overall experience as a B but that is due to the fact the caulking could have been better. But Jim did advise me before he did it that caulking was not his expertise.

They came out on the day I called and were able to correctly diagnose the issue within ten minutes. They got right to work and excavated the floor to be able to see the leaking pipe that afternoon but then had to wait on the Oak Park permitting office which ended up being a significant hold-up. Once they had the go-ahead from the permit office they continued the project and dug the necessary holes and ran the necessary pipe. All this was done in freezing cold temperatures without any complaint or hesitancy. They were not as communicative as they could have been as the process went along, but on the whole they handled the situation very well and provided excellent service.

I saw the reviews on 711- plumbing and went to their website and gave them a call. I talked to a very nice gentleman - forgot his name -but he was very funny. I explained the situation and he said it would cost $160. Once he arrived - the price went up to $225 - I told him he gave me an estimate of $160. He said ok, $185 with supplies. Ok, not sure why the price went up and the situation did not change. Well, he continued to be nice and funny. I believe it should have taken about 15 - 20 minutes to repair - but they had to go to the store for plumbing supplies. Once they arrived back - the repair was complete and it appears to be a good job. The final price with supplies was $212. Nice job, good work - I'm happy.

Their prices are very reasonable for the work they do. They are reliable and they have been there for me in emergency situations.

They were unreliable. I contacted them on Friday and they were to go out on Saturday. He didn?t have the supplies so he charged me twice to go out on Saturday and again on Monday. He then told me that he would charge me only once and go out once. He called me on a Sunday and told me that his truck brakes went out and that he wouldn?t be able to work on Monday. I told them to call back if they were not able to make any alternate arrangement so that I can have a handy man come and fix the issue. However they didn?t call back. So Monday I had someone fix the issue. I would not recommend them at all. I would have to say that their initial response was good and he did call me on Sunday to inform that he was not coming the next day.

I have been using this company for the past few years and they are the only plumber we will ever use. Their prices are unbelievably low in comparison to other estimates I have received. Jim, the technician I usually see, as well as the rest of the staff is very courteous. They always do a good job. You cannot beat these guys. I would recommend them to absolutely everyone.

During an extended period of freezing in Chicago, pipes were bursting all over the city. I had a pipe burst in my building and after calling 20 plumbers that could not come out, 7-11 responded promptly and resolved the issue quickly resulting in minimal damage from the water.
