JLJ CONSTRUCTION

This contractor stated that the deck would be solid and one of the statements made was that the sides would not wobble as with so many decks..they would be solid. In less than a week the side near the pool was wobbling and I was unable to close the gate. I called and left a message which he returned and said he would be to my house the week after the weekend of 6/20 to repair..he was out of town on vacation. The deck was solid and not to worry, which I agreed to. He never showed up that week or any other week afterwards. I called off and on and never got a return call. One call made on 9/26 he did return. He apologized and said that the person he had sent out based on a phone call made a few weeks before evidently didn't fix the deck as he had instructed. He would be at my house to repair my deck either Tuesday (9/30) or Wednesday (10/1) the following week, depending on weather. We had perfect weather with absolutely no rain until Thursday, 10/2. Again, no show. I sent a text again on 10/7 with no response and no repair. This contractor told me that he was available for other home projects and to keep him in mind. This person does not follow up or hold any responsibility for his work once he's paid. I would never use him and would not recommend him for any work.
