Our old Liftmaster garage door opener stopped working and we wanted to replace it with the same brand.  I chose Overhead Garage Door opener because they carry Liftmaster and the reviews were very good.  My only complaint is the phone service I received when I called the company.  The person who helped me was very curt and I had a difficult time getting answers to my questions.  Since she indicated that they charge to come to your home for an estimate, I wanted to ask some questions first to make sure about what the procedure would be and what I would get when the technician came to my house. If the reviews hadn't been so good, I probably would not have gone any further based on the phone call.  But I did go ahead, and scheduled the service call.  The technician was prompt and explained my choices for a new opener and answered all my questions. He was very professional.  He installed the opener right away and we have been very happy with it.

The garage door broke on a Saturday, the office was still open and I was able to make an appointment for the coming Monday.  The guy came to fix the door right on time, was very professional and respectful.  He explained what was wrong and my options to fix or replace.  I chose to fix it, after discussing with him (there was a large price difference and the life expectancy of the opener was like 10-15 years after the fix, so it seemed like a no-brainer).  I appreciated that he didn't try to talk me into paying more to have it replaced.  He fixed the opener quickly and now it works great.

They scheduled an appointment for the afternoon of my call and Nathan showed up at the appointed time.
He made the repair and serviced and adjusted the doors and openers and explained everything as he went.

My garage door was completely off the track when I called. The technician, Wes, was very prompt, courteous and professional. He arrived early enough during the 2 hour window so that I wasn't stuck at home all day waiting for him. He told me exactly what needed to be fixed and how much it would cost before doing anything. He fixed the problem extremely fast and efficiently. I would definitely recommend and use this company again in the future.

I called their dispatch around 12:00pm, and they gave me a window of between 12-3 on the same day. The technician arrived around 1:30pm and called before to let us know he would arrive in about 25 minutes. He was very knowledgeable and educated us about garage door maintenance and parts. The garage was fixed in about an hour. A very easy and pleasurable experience. We would use them again when needed.

The spring broke on our garage door, so after referring to Angie's List, I called Overhead Door at 12:15 PM, and made the appointment time for the same day - 3-6 PM.  The receptionist indicated they couldn't make a scheduled time any later than 3, and that Scott should arrive sometime between 3 and 6. She quoted $179 for this job.
Scott arrived shortly after 3PM and had pretty much wrapped up the job by 3:40, Not much else to say except they honored the 10% Angie's list coupon and everything worked out great.  We'll use Overhead Door again next time we need a lift.

They did a great job. The technician called just before he was going to arrive and showed up exactly when he said he would. We talked about the situation, he suggested the replacement device, estimated it would take about an hour and got to work. He finished early, synced our existing multi-door opening garage door remote to the new door, tested everything. He gave advice for maintenance for the new opener as well as the one for our other garage door, asked if I had any questions, cleaned up after himself and left. Quick, professional, efficient, and reasonably priced. What more can you ask for?

I scheduled them to come the next day at 11am.  The technician arrived on time and completed the job in less than an hour.  He was professional and courteous.  I'd definitely call on them again.

Bought garage door opener with thoughts of installing myself. Old opener was functioning, but was an old variety with static security. Also the reverse security was not functioning either.

After putting it together and realizing that I would need to at least modify if not entirely replace the support brace, I researched this company. Called first thing in the morning and they arrived that afternoon exactly as promised and done in about an hour. Modified support brace, installed accessories, and programmed extra keypad. Used better quality braces than those provided in the box at no extra charge. Couldn't ask for better service!

We got several estimates from contractors listed from Angie's list.  We narrowed it down to 2 and let Overhead Garage Door come last as we had been using them for service on our garage doors previously.  There was one other contractor that really impressed us and he was about $350 less in the estimimate.  Overhead matched his price and and included the same or better qualtity materials.  They let us use a credit card at no additional charge which allowed mileage plus points for future travel plans....much appreciated.  I knew the qualtiy and service that Overhead would supply as we had used them in the past.  Installation was fast, curteous and they  leaned up well afterwards.  Very satisfied all around.  Would use again ans suggest their use to friends.  Dealing with office personnel was very smooth and professional.

The door  wasn't closing.  We called in the morning, by 11am,  they came by and in an hour did the work.   Great job.  

Everything went well. I just feel 2 months seems to me like a long time. I was told it would be 4-5 weeks. It was a very cold day when the doors were installed. It took about 3.5 hours to do the work. Clean up could have been better, but it was extremely cold.

A garage door opener failed. I called at 8AM and received same-day service. Scott immediately knew the problem, and gave me a "repair or replace" option. I chose to replace the opener. He did the work immediately, charged a fair price, and accepted the Angie's list coupon. I will probably use the same vendor when I replace my garage doors later this year.

Scott arrived on time and was friendly. He assessed the problem quickly and provided a quote right away. He said the job would take between an half hour to forty-five minutes. He was finished less than half an hour. Had the paperwork ready for me. Very satisfied with his professionalism and the work completed. Would highly recommend.

The repairman arrived around the time he was supposed to, and the work was done professionaly. I'd recommend this company to anyone who ask's me.

Perfectly as always. I've used this company since 1988 and they have never, ever let me down. Further, they get the customer scheduled ASAP - and in emergencies (like if the opener won't work, for example) they get out within hours. They have also replaced both my garage door opener and the garage door itself and I've had zero trouble afterwards. Great company

I was very happy with the work Overhead Garage did. I was able to get a Tech to the house the same day. The tech analyzed the issue, and corrected everything that needed to be fixed. Bob went over everything he did after he completed the work. Sorry, it has taken me this long to complete a survey.
