John and Jose are all about service. Tell them what you are trying to do and they will guide you on what you need. If they don;t sell it they will tell you where to get it. Usually in the time it takes to walk around HomeDespot I can get the Yu Hardware and get what I need and be home.

They did a wonderful job and I would use them again. I thought the price was very fair and the quality was very good.

The service is great. They are very friendly and will answer questions when working on projects. They are very knowledgeable.

I was overjoyed and extremely pleased with their services. I sent in my screen door in the morning and got it back in the afternoon. This kind of same-day can only be found in an old fashioned family-owned store like YU hardware. Plus, the price is the best that you can find. It was a blessing to discover this store. I had to have my screen repaired immediately. I remembered reading in Angie's list that someone got his screen repaired in one day at Cobey Hardware store in Diversey, which is a bit too far for me. I went to several hardware stores nearby only to be told that it will take them one week to repair it and give me back the door. So I called Cobey Hardware, but they told me their store has been closed for two months. They are not in business. I begged them to give me a referral and they gave Yu Hardware. This couple who own the store are very nice. The technician who repaired it is very knowledgeable and skillful. I am so happy to have discovered this store.

THIS IS ONE OF THOSE SMALL SHOPS THAT ARE STILL VERY NECESSARY IN THE DAYS OF HOME DEPOTS AND MENARDS. SURE THINGS ARE GOING TO COST A BIT MORE.. BUT YOU WALK IN AND EACH PERSON THERE KNOWS ALL THERE IS TO KNOW ABOUT HARDWARE AND CAN DIRECT YOU TO THE RIGHT PART AND TELL YOU HOW TO INSTALL IT. PLUS... THEY SHARPEN MOWER BLADES, REPLACE SCREENS AND MAKE KEYS. VIVA LA MOM AND POP HARDWARE STORE!
