XX Appliance Repair

Everything was fine. It was good.

SCAM! I should have sensed a red flag when they said they could arrive within an hour while every other company said it would take weeks to come out because of staffing shortages. The guy performed diagnostics on 3 appliances, citing a price of $100 for the first appliance and $50 each after that, that would be waived if I had them perform repair work. The issue with the stove burner not lighting turned out to be accumulated dirt under the cooktop, which without first telling me the guy scrubbed for a solid 5 minutes and fixed. That was the only non-diagnostic work performed. Conveniently, "the company" does not allow for diagnostic fees from one appliance to transfer to repair work on other appliances, which admittedly I did not inquire as to such technicalities at the forefront. In the case of diagnostics on multiple appliances but repair work only on one, "the company" also assigns the lowest diagnostic fee of $50 to the appliance actually having repair work performed on. Also, the minimum repair labor fee is $175, which when informed about at the end I told the guy there is zero chance I would have agreed for you to scrub this stove for 5 minutes for $175. I refused to pay what he was demanding, and finally settled for a total of $250 mainly because I wanted him to just leave. XX Appliance Repair can be described as nickel and diming at a minimum, but more likely this is straight fraud.

I moved in and realized the bottom shelf of my fridge was not made for that model. I used my home warranty and 3 things went wrong 1) never communicated it would not be covered 2) never communicated that I could still purchase it as I need it 3) never answer my text to get an update 4) asked for payment over personal zelle and stay at my house 10mn. Felt like a scam but it is a company with bad business practices . Then my dishwasher- after replacing my broken pipe, I had him checking and it just turn the water on - which was my mistake but did not spend much time checking filter and more ...again in a hurry to get his $170 visit . I gave him a check to his company ..unacceptable- don't even try

Arrived very quickly ~1 hour from when I called, fixed the washer in no time, very professional repair man! Would definitely recommend to others!
