WORKFORCE CLEANING

This cleaning was set up for my 87 year old mother. They were scheduled to come at 9AM but came at 10AM. They promised a person who understood and spoke English. They sent somone who had great difficulty with the English language. They advertised thorough cleaning. My mother reports that the work was not done to her satisfication. The kitchen floor was mopped very hastily and sloppy. There were areas of the condo that looked like they had not been dusted.

This service is punctual and polite and very responsive. The cleaners were very nice women. They have come twice for cleaning, and each time I would rate the cleaning as "fair." Didn't move rugs, dust windowsills, clean in corners.

I just never felt like a partnership, and I had a list that I went over with them every time, yet they weren't as thorough as I thought they should have been.

I was originally told that the carpet cleaners could come on a Monday and the house cleaners on Tuesday. Then they called to say the carpet cleaners could not come on Monday, but would come on Tuesday at 11:00 am. I was told to expect the house cleaners between 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm on Monday. They arrived after 2:00 pm. They seemed to work slowly but they were very thorough. By 4:00 they were still cleaning the kitchen and had only finished one of the three bathrooms. I got a call from the office saying that they would have to come back the next day to finish; I was told they would work until 6:00 pm but they left at 5:45 pm. The next day I was told to expect them, again between 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm. I can understand that the first job has to finish before they can go to the afternoon job but this company has serious time management issues. By 11:30 am I called in to see where the carpet cleaners were: I was left on hold for 3 minutes. I called back and was told that the carpet cleaners were now coming at 1:30 pm. No apology or explanation for the different time. Since this house is vacant we had made a special effort to be there at 11:00 am. At 3:00 pm they had not showed up. I called the office and she said she had no idea when they would come but that they would come today, and that the carpet cleaners would be there in 20 minutes. I told her that we absolutely had to receive a phone call if the times were to change again. The carpet cleaners did show up. The house cleaners never did show up all day Tuesday, and I never received a phone call.

They are very professional. The first time they had two people come, and the second time they sent one person. Each time there was at least one person that spoke English. They are very cooperative and do good work.

Spoke to Veronica who nicely booked the appt. and explained the extent of work they would do. The two workers came on time and bottom line, the apartment shower. From the top corner of the closets to the bottom corner of kitchen drawers. Ready for our new tenants.

They are very professional. However, I have a few complaints. First, they always want to leave every surface totally uncovered, which means they put everything away (books, toothpaste, papers, random knicknacks). While this reduces clutter, they do not know where everything goes. I have asked them to leave everything where found (just neater), but this has not happened. Also, a couple of times they have come weeks when I did not expect them and not on other weeks when I did. Finally, I am missing a pair of earrings. I called them to check and see if they noticed, and the management claims they talked to the employees and they didn't see anything. Due to the aforementioned re-ordering of everything it is possible that the earrings are in an unexpected drawer or place, but this concerns me. Despite this, however, I would recommend them as they do an overall excellent job.

They're GREAT! They're worth every penny. There is nothing like coming into your house after a long day at work, and having clean floors, kitchen, bathrooms and bedding. I don't want to spend my weekends cleaning, and they're fabulous. They come as a pair, are bonded, insured, etc. Very reliable. We leave a key w/our doorman. Because they're part of a larger service, if company is coming or we need to move cleaning, they can normally accommodate us. While the ladies do not speak the best English (they speak great Spanish), we can call the service and leave notes in our file for things to be done differently, etc. Only regret, they do not dust, but overall, they're GREAT!
