Stay away from this company I made the mistake of allowing this company back into my house after having to call the police of the same tech 2.5 years ago according to the company this technical had been fired. Also this company is notorious for the bait and switch pricing I was quote $200 and then when the tech arrives the it's $360 This company need to be put out of business

DO NOT USE!!!! Had our carpet "cleaned" on February 12, 2022. Salesman was very unprofessional. Started telling me about his kitten that sucks on his nipple in the middle of the night (barf). He didn't do any work and left it all for the other guy to do. Called and spoke to a manager who slipped and told me that the entire job was videotaped. Not once was I told that the entire inside of my home and belongings were going to be recorded. That is a complete violation of my privacy. Never received an invoice for the job done which was terrible. The next day after the carpet dried all of the stains which should have been taken out if they actually used carpet shampoo to clean the carpet with were visible. I ran my hand through the carpet, and it was full of cat fur and stunk. For an entire main floor of an almost 3000 square foot house, staircase and upstairs hallway they were in and out in about 45 minutes. The lady that called to confirm the appointment told me they would move furniture which they didn't at first. I watched the kid vacuum around almost everything until I asked him why he wasn't moving the furniture. He said they didn't move anything, and I said that's not what I was told. At the end of the day the service and product SUCKED!!! Don't waste your time or money. Stanley Steamer all the way!!!

Service was done adequately. They tried to charge almost 4x the estimated cost. While the tech was there a corner of my wall was damaged by this company. They have been avoiding phone calls and emails and are blaming before/after service movement and something falling after they left. (They have since gotten back to me and are at this refusing to take ownership pay for the damage caused during their visit.) Here’s a few things though, there was no drywall on the ground where the damage was. Meaning the tech saw the damage that he had done and cleaned it up. The chair they are claiming fell and did the damage was on a shoe rack 53” away on an angle. The height of the chair is 38”, unless physics changed there was simply no way that the chair falling caused the damage. There was no sound of something falling at all during the visit either. They have refused to make a change and fix it. This is ridiculous.

This company is full of it they quoted me one price on the phone and turned around and gave me a different price on site. That was the first red flag, the guy who came out talked so much he couldn’t do the job he left so much water down in my carpet it was like walking through a flood. When I asked him about picking it up he said it will dry in 4-6 hours no way, he also was talking so much about his dog and his house in Glendale heights IL that he left the suction part on my carpet to where it pulled the carpet up, I had to call them over and over again until I was able to speak with someone who said they will be back out the next day. They sent the same bumbling idiot out who tells his boss I didn’t do that and he told them to leave. I called the BBB who also stated they have 1000s Of complaints on this company I’m sorry I didn’t do my homework first

I Really wish I had read all the Awful reviews before I hired this Awful Company Just like everyone says you get your quote online and when the tech shows up he tries to sell you everything in the book My tech was rude, dressed like he just woke up (No Uniform) and pet hair all over his dirty jogging pants, his nasty dirty gym shoes looked like they were 15 years old. I asked if he could put on booties he told me he falls when he wears them. Yes their machines are from the 1800's and they spray some orange junk and then pretend to clean your furniture. Called to speak to the manager and it was like talking to a wall DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY I'M CALLING NBC INVESTIGATES

Buyer beware. Never hire this company. Huge mistake. First of all the technician had a very bad attitude, he started selling me $50.00 additional fee each room for deep cleaning.. I had 5 rooms basic cleaning. I said no. Took him less than 30 minutes to finish the entire job. It did not seem to be cleaned at all. !! I could have done a better job using my home carpet steam cleaner. Worst is the technician flooded my entire kitchen floor because he was careless not to see that my sink had a strainer and the water overflowed ! I had to clean the floor myself. What a mess. Then he did not tell me he would leave the carpet wet, and will take 6 hours to dry. !!! I have used other companies like Stanley Steamer before and my carpet is pretty much dry and clean. Worst experience with carpet cleaner ever !

They were running about an hour and 45 minutes late. We called three times and got excuses. Last time we called the person who answered tried to argue with us. Canceled order. Can’t give them our money and you probably shouldn’t either.

I followed their instructions and called  on 8/1 and made an appointment for them to return on 8/5/13,  Twenty minutes before they were to arrive I was called and told that they would not be returning; there was no point to spot the areas a second time.  However, I could take a photo and hire another company.  If they removed the spot that they would reimburse me the cost that the second company charged me.  Regardless, they were not returning.  I called back and told that I wanted to be reimbursed $128.40 minus $49.50 (the amount of the original quote) or else I would post what they did to me any place I could find to post it.  Their service manager started screaming at me and said "do not threaten me" and then hung up on me. They were dishonest and I would NEVER use them again.

Short story:  We Clean Carpets charged me $250 to clean a single upholstery item, even though they had quoted me $49.50 when I called to make the appointment.  I called them the same afternoon as service to complain about the overcharge, and to let them know that there were a number of stains still on the sofa.  After acknowledging (on a number of occasions, over a period of about 6 weeks) that they overcharged me, they told me that they had already put a refund through on my credit card.  The refund was actually never put through and they made sure not to return any future calls by me.  I disputed the charge with my credit card company, but We Clean Carpets has so far refused to even participate in that process, holding it up and making it very difficult.  Out of nowhere, three months after service, I received a "refund check" from them for $5!  They overcharged me by $200, didn't get my sofa clean, told me they were refunding me the whole $250, and then only refunded me $5. 

Long story:  I saw an advertisement for We Clean Carpets that stated that they cleaned upholstery items for $20/item.  I called to make sure that each "item" was a full sofa, full chair, etc., as opposed to a single cushion.  They confirmed that a sofa was a single item, but informed me that the first item was actually $49.50, and each additional item was only $20. I only had one sofa that needed cleaning, so I hired them anyway for $49.50.  They were late coming out to my house but eventually got there and cleaned the sofa (they also cleaned a single cushion on another sofa for "free" as a gesture of goodwill).  The cleaner, Angelo, however, charged me $250 to clean the single sofa and told me that they had to use extra chemicals to get all the stains completely out.  I protested that that seemed like way more than what was advertised, but it didn't seem to matter to them.  After they left and the sofa cushions started to dry, I noticed that they were still stains on it.  I called We Clean Carpets and was transferred to the voicemail for John the service manager.  It took several days for John and me to reach each other.  He told me that $250 was way too much to have charged me and promised to send a supervisor out on a given date and time. 

On the morning of that meeting, Angelo called me at home and wanted to engage in a conversation about what I thought he did wrong.  I finally told him that I wanted to just speak to the supervisor scheduled to come to my house.  No supervisor showed up to my house at the given time.  After waiting an hour or so, I called We Clean Carpets and was transferred to Patrick the dispatcher.  Patrick told me that Angelo was on his way and would be there in a few minutes.  I told him I thought a supervisor was coming.  I didn't really want Angelo to come back since he had overcharged me and had not cleaned the sofa correctly the first time.  Patrick acted very impatient and told me I had no other options.  I waited another hour or so and called back.  Patrick seemed very annoyed that I had called back and told me that Angelo was only ten minutes away.  An hour after that, Angelo showed up. He told me that he would re-clean the sofa at no charge, but said that it looked like I must have made new stains since he had come out the last time (there were no new stains!).  When he left, there were still stains on the sofa and he had not refunded me any amount of the charge.  I called We Clean Carpets to find out why no supervisor had shown up and was transferred to Patrick the Dispatcher again.  Patrick called me "slow" and also told me that John (the service manager) was an idiot and had no idea how the office worked.  He told me that they would not send a supervisor out and I was stuck with the service I got from Angelo.  I called back and left John another message (one of many to come), but did not hear back from him for several days.

Finally, after six weeks of leaving messages for John and occasionally speaking to him, he told me that they had agreed to refund the total amount of the service.  They advertise a money back guarantee if a client is dissatisfied with their service in any way.  However, I did not receive the refund.  I called again and was told that the refund had already been made and if I didn't see it go through by the next day, I should call John back.  I never received the refund.  I have now called John a minimum of 20 times and he has not returned any of my calls.  This afternoon, I received a refund check of $5 with a hand-written note that said "refund for overcharge".

We got a quote from We Clean Carpet on phone to get the basic carpet cleaning done for 1500 sq ft of our carpet area in the house. They gave us a quote of 229$ and when the associate came out, he went around and measured the house for the same area, but said it would take 550$. Noone picked up at their office at that time, and so we got the carpet cleaned( just the basic cleaning as told on the phone) but were charged 550 instead of 229. The associate also didnt clean the basement carpet saying that would be additional price. The basement was included in that 1500 sq ft area. When we called the company back to understand extra charges, they kept transfering us to administrative office, where noone picks the phone, it goes directly to voicemail and noone bothers to respond back to the vmail. IT's been more than a month, and they keep calling us from their scheduling department for more services to sell, but dont listen to our problem of being charged extra.  We will never go back to this company again and I recommend noone else should go for it, since they look like bunch of cheats.

They have nothing called customer-service , they just go after your money.

We Clean Carpet sent two guys to remove our basement carpet after flooding in Chicago on 7/23/11. We negotaited a rate prior to the job being performed, and after the work was completed, he multiplied the rate x2 because there were two workers there. The workers did a good job but the pricing was criminal. I told them this while we paid and said I would call customer support to follow up. I've spoken with a guy named John a few times and he pushed me off by saying he will call me back, but he doesnt seem to have any intentions of doing so. I have contacted We Clean Carpet no less than a dozen times over the past month and no one seems concerned with this inquiry. They also dont have an address and everything gets elevated to a Minnesota cell phone. Very shady company and I highly suggest steering away from them.
