Vincent's Obsessive Scrubbing

Very disappointing- very slow and didn't really clean anything. He spent FOUR HOURS in our kitchen and didn't leave it much cleaner. After he had been in our kitchen for 4 hours, I paid him and told him he could go home. It was the weirdest thing- I couldn't figure out what he had been doing for 4 hours. He did talk on his cell phone and listen to the radio. I checked on him, and he appeared to be cleaning things. But the counters, cabinets, windows, appliances didn't look like they had been cleaned. The top of the stove looked like he had wiped it down (but some grease remained) and -oddly enough- the soap dispenser had been thoroughly cleaned. At one point, when I walked in to check on him, he had moved out the stove to clean behind it- scratching our hardwood floors. Later, when I swept under the stove, I discovered that he hadn't really cleaned that area well at all. I don't think he used many of our cleaning products- and he apparently used the same sponge for 4 hours.

Good. He's a very nice person, and eager to do a good job.

Vincent arrived within the time frame to which we agreed. His work was very thorough, and reasonably priced. His demeanor was very professional and pleasant. His estimation of the time he needed to do the work was accurate.

I would hire again. Only thing I slightly disliked was that fact that he didn't bring any materials of his own. But again I can understand his position on that.

Vincent has been cleaning my apartment twice a month for a year now. He always goes the extra mile--moves furniture to clean under, instead of just cleaning around. He's even organized the bin that holds my cleaning supplies. I'm moving soon, and thankfully Vincent is willing to work in my new neighborhood--don't know how I'd find someone to replace him.

Vincent obsessively scrubbed my bathrooms until they shined, and spent some serious time cleaning baseboards and floors and cobwebs from ceilings per my instructions. We are in a very old house that is too huge to tackle in one day, so we had him come back a second time to do even more. He is a one-man-team and we had to provide all the tools and solutions for cleaning, but he does a good job. I'd recommend him (and we will use him again).

WE'VE WORKED WITH OTHER CLEANING SERVICES, AND NONE HAVE COMPARED TO VINCENT'S WORK. HE GETS EVERYTHING *REALLY* CLEAN, AND ACTUALLY SEEKS OUT HIDDEN DIRT AND CRUD INSTEAD OF JUST DOING THE BARE MINIMUM. FOR EXAMPLE, HE CLEANS OUR CEILING FANS AND RADIATORS AND EVEN THE CRUMB TRAY ON OUR TOASTER OVEN. WE OFTEN CALL VINCENT TO CLEAN BEFORE WE ENTERTAIN, AND OUR GUESTS ALWAYS MARVEL AT OUR SPARKLING CLEAN HOME. VINCENT'S OBSESSIVE SCRUBBING IS APTLY NAMED, AND GETS OUR HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION.
