Description of Work: Contacted Danny at Varda for a quote on painting our stair case and living room molding in Lincoln Park. We had used Varda for painting in the past and were really happy with their attention to detail, pace, and super clean work environment. Danny came out the same day for an estimate and accommodated our schedule by arriving after work. He gave a very detailed estimate. He also provided some painting tips in case we planned on doing the work ourselves. His estimate was fair, although a little out of our current budget. We ended up doing the work ourselves and even applied Danny's tips. We are planning a larger project in the future and look forward to using Varda again for great results.

+ 0 moreThey did a great job. I was able to schedule an estimate in the evening which worked for my schedule. They showed up on time (or 5 minutes early) to do the prep, repair, and painting. They were very neat and extremely considerate regarding dust, dirt, and my personal belongings. Their attention to detail was awesome and you can tell that they really know their trade. It seems like the crew had many years of painting experience and it really showed with the quality of their work. They were not the cheapest quote I received but you truly get what you pay for with these guys. I will use Varda again and would be happy to recommend them to anyone.
Description of Work: Repaired all cracked woodwork and molding in home. Repaired and replaced drywall and corner bead in areas with cracked walls. Painted walls, ceiling, doors, trim, and molding (including some high stairwells and hard to reach areas).

Description of Work: Called for an estimate to paint our living room/dining room, hallway, kitchen, ceiling in family room and master bath and to remove wall paper in bathroom area and paint.

+ -1 moreI felt that his estimate was fair and that he was going to spend a lot of time doing prep-work. The only reason I did not go with them, is because the people who remodeled my kitchen ended up painting instead.
Description of Work: They came to give an estimate to have living room, dining room, hallway, two bedrooms and a kitchen painted.

It is rare to find one who take pride in their work, and Mr. Tripkovic's team are conscientious and skilled in their chosen profession. Mr. Tripkovic provided solutions to problems, and coached his team step by step. His team is polite, trustworthy, and quite kind. His crew arrived everyday on time, promptly at 7:00 am and finished 3 days after beginning to the minute as promised. Mr. Tripkovic and his crew have an appreciation for quality. + -1 moreHe has painted our apartment, plastered, and repaired water damage in the past. He's always flexible and does the best work. He has a good crew and is very nice and professional. He cleans up his mess much better than most, and I just can't say enough good things about him. I've used him for over 10 years.

Description of Work: In our 3 story condo building, they painted the entryway, the lobby, and the front staircase. This included taping and careful cleanup.
