I was referred to The Professionals by two very close friends and they were absolutely dead on. Gabriel and his crew were fantastic! We seriously cannot thank enough. When we make our next move in the coming months I would love to use The Professionals again and request Gabriel and his team. Such kind and careful workers with our possessions. Thank you thank you thank you! Highly recommend 10/10 service. And they were QUICK! Best money we’ve spent all year. It was worth every penny! $160/hr x 5 hours (2.5 hours to pack a 2 bed/2 bath apt + 1 hour to move us into our 1 bed / 1 bath + 1 hour Move remaining items into storage unit) $80 driving fee / gas $25? Tape/Wrap Total was $943 for the 5 hours We tipped very well! This is based on the person but we have some very expensive pieces of furniture and Gabriel’s team took such great care of our stuff. Just phenomenal workers. We felt it was justified to leave several hundred for their 4 team crew. Totally up to the people who hire them but we felt they were so fast abs efficient it was worth it to take care of them.

I used the professionals for a local move, and it was easily the best money I've spent! I can't imagine not using movers again (and in fact plan to use them again soon!). My move was smaller so the move was completed under the minimum time--the movers helped build furniture as I unpacked in the remaining time, which was above and beyond what I expected and saved me a lot of time and stress!

Amazing! Our crew really hustled and were extremely careful moving items. When our closing was delayed they rolled with it. The cost reflects a long wait time so they are actually quite reasonable. The only movers I will use in Chicagoland!

I had a team of four pack and move me from city to suburbs. They arrived on time, hustled throughout the day and completed the job in about 7 hours. All my belongings made it and nothing was damaged. I would use them again. I would love it if they had some kind of recycling program for all of the boxes.

You just have to provide them with very detailed information about what you have in your home. You have to pay with a cashiers check or money order. If you over payed they gave us a refund within a number of days, it was very quick.

They did a good job but in the end the actual price was nearly double what their original quote stated. We've had the same quality work done for half the cost with New City Movers, so we'll go back to using them instead.

Roman's team arrived on time and went to work immediately taking the pier unit apart. They wrapped each part in blankets and plastic wrap for protection. They had everything packed into their truck within 45 minutes. I met them at the apartment and they had everything moved in and put back together just as quickly. The entire process took only two hours with no dings or scratches. They made moving one large piece of furniture an easy experience!

They could have been a little more careful moving some of the more fragile items. Nothing broke but I thought that while watching them move things, they did nick the wall a little bit. Nothing major, just they were trying to move very fast. I thought they could have apologized or something for it.  

The other thing, which is something I knew ahead of time, is that they are cash only which can keep the cost down but that is a little risky if you do encounter a major problem with them.

It was my second time to use this moving company. I hired them to pack my items and move them. It was worth the money to have everything packed. I think they did a great job. They work efficiently.

Worked with Victor #2, Alfredo, and Alejandro. They are really, really good at what they do. I was super impressed with their professionalism, hard work, and great attitude. We had a job to move furniture within the same building, and they were able to make the job look simple. Not only that, but they were extremely professional when it came to pointing out existing damage prior to the move, and were also very patient when it came to handling loose items. I will be requesting the exact same crew in my next move. I would definitely not cheap out if you are moving anything of value. You get what you pay for.

Let me start by saying I am a solo parent to a special needs 4yo. I work full time and also have 2 inactive small home businesses. This simply means that I have a TON of stuff, much much more than the average 2 person family and I have much less time than the average person. I dropped my child off at his daily therapies and rushed back home to find the moving guys at least 30 minutes earlier than anticipated (which is a good thing!) but I was so rushed in general because I hadn't quite finished packing so I was not in a very good mood and ended up being abrasive and snippy during the initial walk-through. Lucky for me I had an amazing crew that must be used to the craziness and stress of people moving, and they not only helped me pack up some items but they were very courteous, professional, and fast. They moved me from a severely crammed basement 2 bedroom apartment into a 2nd floor 3 bedroom condo 10 miles away. The truck was jam packed, seriously not another item could fit into it. They hauled everything out and up one set of stairs from the basement and then again up 3 sets of stairs into the new place. When we were finished, I seriously couldn't have thanked them enough - they turned my stressful situation into a successful move and did it with a smile. My crew was Victor #2, Alfredo H and Abenamar G - and I would HIGHLY recommend them and hire them without a second thought the next time I move.

They were extremely careful and wrapped our possesions beyond what we were even expecting. They were on time and efficient about getting the truck loaded but did not hurry in a way that we felt like things might be damaged. Upon arrival they took their time and made sure everything was placed exactly where we wanted it. Very cutteous and, respectful. We would highly recommend them.

I've never used  moving company before because I've relied on friends/friends of friends to help me move.  Luckily, my former apartments were mostly on the first floor so my "movers" didn't have to lug my stuff that far.  A friend who moved a few months ago talked about how she used The Professionals to help with her move.  She raved about how the movers were great at their job and she recommended I use them if I were to move.  Backed by her statement, I decided to use The Professionals for my recent move.  The movers that were assigned to me were heaven sent.  Modesto, Edward and Eric were sooooo awesome in getting the move done as quickly and efficiently as possible.  They came on time and they also called ahead to let me know what time to expect them.  I was VERY impressed at how quick they were in loading boxes and furniture on to the truck.  I got most of my packing done but there were a few items that I didn't get around to.  To say I was stressed and overwhelmed is an understatement.  But Modesto, the head mover assured me that it's going to be alright and they will do all they can to help me.  To get that kind of assurance helped to ease my mind.  I moved to a third floor and the movers didn't even scratch my furniture and or break anything.  They also have a great work ethic considering it's no mean feat to carry my furniture all the way to the third floor sans elevator.  The Professionals are very lucky to have these three fine gentlemen to work for them.  Every company needs a Modesto, Edward and Eric in their employ.  They are great at their job and should definitely be commended for it.  I've already told everyone I know about my wonderful experience using The Professionals.  Thanks again Modesto, Edward and Eric.  I know it was your job to help me with my move.  But in my opinion, you went above and beyond your duties to make sure I have a smooth transition.  And that was all very much appreciated.  I will definitely use The Professionals again and ask for the same crew.

I had a gazillion boxes.  Beyond what most people would have.  I had lots of books, records, CD's, DVD's & videos.  There must have been 300-400 boxes plus we had furniture and everything else we had to move and a lot of delicate stuff.  They were very careful to know what was in the boxes, what was fragile.  They were careful about everything, also careful about how they arranged the boxes at the new place.  They were careful entering and exiting and careful to not hit the walls or anything else.  They handled everything as if they were babies, very, very delicate with everything.  I was grateful!  That has not been my experience in the past.  I hate moving and I was not looking forward to it, but I had heard good things about Professionals.  It was awesome and I was just thrilled!  I have used movers in the past and they break some things and do some damage where you're moving in to.  We have an upstairs and downstairs so there were a lot of turns they had to navigate with furniture.  A lot of the stuff was super heavy and they were just really, really careful about everything.  They didn't hurt the walls, they didn't hurt anything.  Nothing was broken.  Also, they're very thorough.  They make you look at the truck at the end to make sure there aren't boxes left.  Anything that could be a concern they have it covered.  They certainly went above & beyond any other movers I've ever used before.

They did a nice job. The four movers worked hard, and they finished in less time than estimated.

My experience with the Professionals was fantastic. They estimated 4.5 hours based my online questionnaire and were done in 4.75 hours for moving a 2 bedroom/1 bath condo (no extra heavy or especially valuable items/antiques). I did most of the packing myself, but they thoroughly wrapped all my furniture and carefully packed my clothes and misc. items. A special call out to the crew of Miguel, Felipe, Lino and Carlos for doing a great job. The price was very reasonable to me, however, I moved during the slow season.
