The Chopping Block is Chicago's largest recreational cooking school, private event venue, gourmet retail and wine store. We also have a location in the Merchandise Mart in downtown Chicago.

They provided good hands on training. They were very patient because most of the clients were beginners. It's a fun experience and a relaxed environment to do something new and fun. The instructors are helpful as well.

It was a nice big class and pretty good. I recommend them. They were very professional. They have different chiefs that host the classes. It's a good experience, not only educational but they made sure I was participating. It was pretty high quality.

Through the Chopping Block we were taught by a chef how to make a 4 course dinner over a period of 3 hours. We then ate the dinner together. We found this company through friends who had previously done this activity and had fun.
