Super Appliance Man

When I called to arrange for repairs I was asked to submit my credit card number to 'reserve' service. The next day, when the technician came my wife told me he spent 15 minutes at the house and left without repairing the refrigerator. $75 for nothing - a complete waste of time & money.

The day of the scheduled service, Jay got a flat tire but made it to the unit eventually to get it all taken care of by 8:00pm on a Friday night. He had to disconnect the dryer (gas line), move it down from the on top of the old washer, stretch the pipes out, put it side by side to the new washer, connect both the old dryer and new washer, test them out to make sure everything works right. He also hauled the old washer out for us. After three weeks of dealing with this issue, I was very happy to pay his fee, which isn't cheap, but I think is reasonable.

I live in a high rise condo and have an older model GE stackable washer /dryer unit that is rarely used. My housekeeper was rushing and broke the washer portion of the unit. I called several companies through AL and many said would not service downtown. (I am getting really tired of hearing that). So, I went to Home Advisors and they immediately connected me via phone to Super Appliance Man. After speaking with Jay directly about what happened and getting a ballpark number, he suggested taking a picture of the model number. After some clunky phone calls back and forth, we finally scheduled service.  Darrel called and arrived earlier than expected, diagnosed the problem quickly and searched where he could get the part. In a matter of 2 1/2 hrs unit was effortlessly fixed.
I think the price was high (certainly NOT outrageous) as they noticed I was a bit anxious to get the work done.
