STUDIO 421 ARCHITECTURE

Chaotic roller-coaster ride that led to many arguments and forcing us to move the family into a studio apartment for 4 months and, finally, our unfinished basement for 3 additional months. The project was to take 4 months. It, instead, took over a year. Because this is a design/build company, the architect did the design and assigned a project manager. He was never heard from again. The project manager changed after just 2 months (no, legitimate, reason given) and the new project manager did nothing but blame the architect (his boss) for not measuring correctly and not making his drawings clear. When we repeatedly asked to get architect involved to clear up issues, we were told that nobody knew how to reach him and that he had changed his number. We were stuck with inaccurate measurements and horrible project management. Most of the work was done by two men that, although they did fair work, were very slow and rarely put in a full day...many weeks only showing two days per week!
