Excellent product and service

They did a beautiful job and were friendly and efficient. It is exactly what we wanted and we are very happy with the shades. We can modify the sunlight that is allowed in. They were on time, were clean and they were worth the price. They gave us a selection of what we wanted. We would use them again and we would highly recommend them.

The lady that answered the phone was very nice. I live in Chicago just 15 minutes south of downtown in the Hyde Park neighborhood right along the lakefront and beaches. Unfortunately they don't service this area. If you live outside of the immediate loop area just be aware when contacting this vendor. I'm certain they would provide great service for those directly in the loop though.

I  tried the two A+ companies on Angie's 'first, but they did not work out mainly due to my 14 foot track.  They were significantly more money and also manufactured their blinds in Mexico, so shipping a track that long was a problem and they did not seem interested in pursuing the sale.  So I decided to give Stoneside a try, and I am very happy I did.  Not only were they less expensive, but they manufacture all their window treatments in the UNITED STATES!. 
I am very happy with the end result.  The window treatments look beautiful!!!  It has been 28 years since my old blinds were replaced. And Yolanda was there every step of the way.

I placed an order to outfit my new home from top to bottom with Stoneside solar shades. Stoneside customer service is far better than any other blind manufacturer I have dealt with in the past. My design consultant Vai made numerous trips to my home to guide me with this decision. She was prompt, courteous, honest, and friendly. Of the many projects I have undertaken on my new home, my experience with Vai and Stoneside by far has been the best. Additionally, their website is very easy to use and their products are manufactured in the US. Pricing is straightforward and transparent. I would give 6 stars if I could.

It looks fine. I was really not involved, it was mostly my wife. I have no complaints.

We are very please.  We contacted Stoneside because our neighbor had used them and was very happy.  The designer / sales rep came to our house and had lots of questions.  It was different than other companies we talked with.  They seemed to actually care about what we needed instead of just trying to sell us something.  We purchase motorized cellular shades and motorized transition shades.  Everything was installed on time and the installer was awesome.  We plan to call Stoneside when we finish the house.

I contacted several window covering companies and was most impressed with Stoneside.  They had a much larger selection than their competitors and seem much more knowledgeable about the products.  The design consultant did a great job learning about our needs before they provided any suggestions.  The other companies we talked to just started trying to sell us stuff.  We selected roman shades for our bedroom, wood blinds for the study and motorized roller shades for our family room.  The blinds actually arrived early and everything was installed with no problems.  My husband and I are very happy and plan to call Stoneside back when we are ready to do the rest of the house.

I was visited by the sales rep in early june, 2014.  She measured all windows, made recommendations based on my needs, and provided a quote.  I gave them a deposit of half and placed the order.  An installer then came for a more accurate measure.  He said he could not hide all the wires in the walls-that was not his expertise.  However that was what was agreed upon and paid for.  So stoneside hired a different installer who could not only put up the blinds, but hide the wires in the wall as well. When the blinds finally arrived and the installer installed them, we found they were not fitted properly to the windows (size and placement on window), in addition, one of the motors sounded like it was going to stop working.  The installer said he would have them re-sized, the motor replaced, and two of the windows that were supposed to come hard-wired but instead came with batteries, replaced.  After repeated phone calls, emails, e-chats and hounding;  I give up!  I am left with a motor that doesn't sound right, two battery operated shades instead of hard-wired, and long electrical cords hanging out in the open all the way down my wall of window.  I specifically asked for the fixes in writing and spent way too much time on the phone trying to get this fixed.  I am done and I paid over $3200 for an incomplete job.  I am walking away and consider my payment complete.  I have had to hire my own electrician to hide the wires.  I am extremely disappointed. The order was placed in June and it is January!  Although the customer service lady was professional on the phone the time I reached her, she was unable to get the work completed.  If this review prompts them to try and finally fix this--it is too late.  After 7 months of trying to get them to do the job...I had to complete it myself and settle for a job half done.
