Stone Plumbing & Backflow

We schedule a time on Sunday, he did not charge me for weekend work.  Corrected the problem in the shower with the parts provided by the manufacture and also fixed sprayer in the kitchen sink that was not part of the scope of work.  He was a little late as scheduled but kept me up to date as to his timing when he new he would be late.  I would recommend Stone plumbing, good work, pricing reasonable, flexible timing and I believe an honest contractor.

He replaced our garbage disposal and fixed a problem we had with a toilet.  He was extremely professional and even recommended that I get a different garbage disposal so that we wouldn't have to replace it again in the near future.  I would highly recommend his work. 

I scheduled with Andrew in the morning for an afternoon appointment. His demeanor is courteous and professional. He was on time for the appointment. He walked me through the repair; he explained that he would root the drain pipe to dislodge the clog, rerun the dishwasher line to bypass the air trap in order to comply with building code, and reattach the sink basin to the counter top. He answered my questions about the cost of the repairs, indicating the most it would cost me to complete the repair. We agreed and he started immediately. The rooting was problematic because the clogged joint wasn't the proper shape, which eventually meant he couldn't get the rooter to enter the joint. As he rooted the pipe the cord missed the clogged joint repeatedly and actually traveled all the way through the dishwasher drain. In order to reach the clogged joint, Andrew cut a small hole in the back of the cabinet, opened the pipe and rooted through the clogged joint. He then reattached the pipes and tested the flow and checked for leaks. Andrew reattached and sealed the sink basin to the counter top and cleaned up the work area. Andrew walked me through the work he completed and recommended I wait a day before exposing the newly sealed sink basin to any water. He was polite and did not rush me to accept that the work was finished and cleaned up until I had a chance to inspect it and agree. Andrew stood by his estimate and was happy that I was satisfied with the repair, even though the repair took a considerable amount of time longer than we anticipated from the outset. I am completely satisfied and would definitely use Andrew again. I will recommend him without hesitation in the future.

Andrew came highly recommended and was great. He returned my call promptly and was able to come out the same day. He matched an estimate I had received and stuck to it even when he had to buy additional parts. My condo was built in 1991 and one pipe under the sink had been left wide open and other parts were not standard size and wouldn't fit the new faucets. Andrew brought everything up to code and beyond. He was very professional. I will use Stone Plumbing again.
