These guys are so profoundly incompetent, we are embarassed to have stuck with them for as long as we did. The previous owner used them, which is why we started. The number of jobs they have completely screwed up is amazing. We've wasted a huge amount of $$ having them improperly install/repair. One screw up led to a major leak one winter that caused water damage in our ceiling and bathroom. After them promising to fix this, and calling their supposed painter (who was clearly a drunk that failed to show up for the job 3 TIMES!!), we fixed it and paid for it ourselves. The latest incident is just too much though. First we called because our main AC unit was making terrible noises then stopping. This we reported as AN EMERGENCY. It was close to 100 out and we have 2 kids. We needed an AC. They returned our call a week later...:( Thank god our AC unit worked intermittently enough to get us through to that point. When the repair guy finally showed, he had not tools. NO TOOLS. In fact he had absolutely nothing on hand to fix a **** thing. Instead he looked at our unit, cleaned it with a rag, charged us $150, and said we might have a leak. A week later, after telling the owner this was pretty unimpressive, they came again. Charged us $400 this time to refill the coolant, cleaned the unit, and left. Two weeks later, we're back in the same boat - AC failing again. Finally, we had the sanity to call a new company. They get here today and within 5 minutes had detected a completely corroded filter all of 5 feet from the unit that alone would have caused the leak, and leaking valves from too much oil on the unit. We might as well have lit that $400 in coolant fee on fire. What a WASTE OF TIME AND $$$$$$. I seriously hate this company.

I don't know in comparison how they are. I know I did a quite a bit of research when we used them initially, and they had the best prices at that time. That we have had them back again, and we have some older units, and those tend to be more costly to repair. I don't believe there were any issues with their punctuality. I would have heard about it if there were any issues.

A room unit of our split-ductless air conditioner shut itself off with its lights blinking in a pattern. I asked for service to diagnose the problem and propose a cure for it. They seemed to have no better information than I could find online. They had no manuals or sites that told what the blinking pattern meant, even though they are authorized to service this brand (Fujitsu). They assured me that my unit was not dirty enough to explain the problem. They looked inside but couldn't identify a problem. We cycled the power and the unit turned on normally as I had experienced before. They advised me to just give the unit a rest if it shuts itself off again and speculated that the fan had deposits on it (that they couldn't see), or that the motor was overheating (echoing the speculation I had told them). They had no further cure to propose other than dismounting the wall unit, disconnecting the coolant tubes and everything. They didn't have any means of inspecting the fan blades directly, with a mirror on a stick or with a camera on a stick. They didn't discuss the various spray-in solution methods offered in home stores and online. I was required to answer yes or no whether I would use them in the future. Maybe I would for some other service. Angie's list gives standard heating a B grade. This seems about right. Geraldo and José -- I enjoyed working with you and appreciated your efforts and promptness and politeness. But on this job your job knowledge was lacking.

The first experience was a good one. After that it went down hill. I had them come out and service the entire system. A job well done. 
This time around there were multiple problems with punctuality and miscommunication between tech and the service department/ scheduling team. When dealing with a professional business you expect them to show up on the days when the schedule too. If was dealing with a family handyman i would except the constant missing of appointments.

I have used them for 40 years. When I bought the house over 40 years ago it had oil. They took that out, put in gas and they put in air. They have since changed the air and do service every year for me. Sometimes the dispatcher gets things wrong. But as far as the service here they have been wonderful, but getting them hear here sometimes has not been the best. It is not the driver's or serviceman's fault. I will get calls from the office that I should have it serviced and I will tell them they have already been here this year. They will say they did not see that and that kind of thing. It would be in the office that I have any complaints. I have a service plan with them so they will come any hour of the day or night and I get a discount on parts and all the stuff.  I get it five years at a time so it is under $150 for the five year coverage. The people are wonderful. I always talk with the service people while they are here and ask them where they are from and where are they going and it is the end of the world.

We have used them for many years. They have reliable technicians that come out. I trust them. They are good at reminding when we need to get our service done. They are also going to follow through about our radiators. They require that their technicians retrain every year to make sure they are on the ball.

Great. We have them out each year to service AC and heating, and absolutely trust them and like their work. They've also done bigger projects, like replacing whole AC system, and their price was competitive, advice was clear and sound, and work was great.

I called to get a "free estimate" as advertised, to repair a furnace under warranty, or as an alternative, to replace the system with a new one. My first call was answered politely, but the rep wanted to send a technician to my home for a $91 diagnostic charge in order to provide an estimate for the warranty work. This was despite the fact that I already had a licensed authorized service company diagnose the problem, and knew what needed to be replaced. The next day, a sales person called me back and again refused to provide an estimate for either option, saying they did not want to get involved because there was a class action lawsuit against the system manufacturer (Carrier).

SCHEDULED TWO WEEKS IN ADVANCED. WAS SUPPOSED TO GET A PHONE CALL BEFORE THE APPOINTMENT. I HAD TAKEN THE DAY OFF FROM WORK AND THEN THEY CALLED ABOUT A HALF AN HOUR BEFORE APPOINTMENT AND CANCELLED SAID THEY WERE SWAMPED. AND NOW I HAVE TO WAIT ANOTHER WEEK. WE HAD PAID TO BE ON THEIR PRIORITY LIST AND THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED. NOT VERY HAPPY WITH THE RESPONSIVENESS OF THIS COMPANY
