Really happy w/ the work Bob and team did for my 4Runner. They installed a rear view camera, and new Pioneer head uni, as well as adapters so all factory speakers and steering wheel controls would work. I found a few nuances not quite right after I left, but they were happy to knock them out quickly and professionally when I called back. can't say enough positive about Bob and the approach. Would highly recommend, and be sure to spend the time walking through what you want- they will absolutely deliver it and you won't feel pressured to go one way or another... two thumbs up!!

They did an excellent job in installing a pre-purchased alarm system on my wife's car for her Xmas present. Also installed a blu-tooth device. Both work well and their rates are very reasonable.

Roger explained the car alarm choices. I purchased one, and waited for it to be installed. Clean environment. Pleasant people. The mechanic installing my alarm was called home for a family emergency. Bob, the owner, sat down with me and explained what had happened and the technician would come back, but it was going to take longer then promised. Bob offered me some options, and I chose to go home -- then he drove me home so I wouldn't have to wait so long in the store. I got a ride back, even tho Bob offered to come and pick me up, I asked a friend to bring me back a few hours later, and my car was ready.
The alarm was explained completely to me, and I tried it a couple of times before I left. I was told to call if I had any questions or even if I needed more instructions on how to use it. Didn't want to "honk" up the whole neighbor so I put Bob's number into my cell phone. Didn't need to call, but their customer relations was superb. And YES, I would definitely go back, and I would definitely recommend it. Bob could teach customer relations!

I dropped my car off the night before my appointment at Soundz Good. The staff was friendly and professional and moved my car indoors for the night. On the day of the scheduled appointment, staff kept in touch with me about timing of job completion and any changes that there might be. When I arrived to pick up my car, it was ready at the time promised and a staff member took me to my car to teach me how to use my new remote start, including making sure that I could do it myself. During the job, it came up that I would need to have the locks done too so that my car remote and remote start would not compete; this was fully communicated along with price including tax. At no time was anything ambiguous. Even without the Groupon, I would have paid Soundz Good to do this job. During this terrible cold spell, the remote start works flawlessly!

Roger was great! I got there a little after 11am and asked when he could install the radio. He made a call and even though it was past the deadlines he got the parts needed the same day. I came back around 12pm and he was able to do the install the same day while I waited. He was very knowledgeable and they did a great job on the install. I would highly recommend Soundz Good Audio, ask for Rorger for really great customer service.

They replaced the battery and replaced a rusted sensor under the hood. They showed me the battery test indicating the battery needed replacement. They printed out the alarm codes which detail any alarm misfires in case I had any future problems. They were quick and efficient.

We met with Rodger and explained that our system had stopped working. He looked it over and told us that he could reset the radio but could not guarantee how long it would work, so we opted for a replacement. He was very helpful in picking out a replacement with the features we wanted. After the install he demonstrated the system for us and answered all of our questions. It was a very positive experience.

I stopped in one morning to look at radios for my older car and found a head unit that had all the features that I was looking for, minus the security of removing the faceplate. The young man who was working the counter, informed me that I could get everything for an additional $100 on a newer model I didn't notice. I opted for that unit and they were willing to instal on the same day, which is awesome! I wasn't able to that day and made an appt. for another day. I dropped the car off in the morning and was called three hours later, saying it was done. Once I got back to the shop, they went over the operation of the unit with me and synced my phone for me. With everything, I was in for $800 (including labor), but I got a lot of bang for the buck and some individual attention. All in all, a very good interaction! I will be going back for additional work on my speakers and lighting.

Super! I dealt with Robert on the phone and when I came into the shop. He sold me the radio with the exact features I was looking for at a great price. I was given an accurate time frame as to how long the installation would take and was kept apprised during that time. After the installation Robert gave me an overview on how to operate the unit. He also said that there is a warranty on the radio unit (bring it into the shop, I don't have to deal with the manufacturer) and also the installation. The radio sounds and works great!
The service was friendly, professional, reasonably priced and all done in the time frame promised. I would highly recommend and I would return for other services.

After my battery went totally dead, my Honda's alarm system continued to go off each time I tried to charge the battery, not recognizing I was not a car thief. I called Bob on the advice of my mechanic. He spent 20 minutes with me on the phone walking me through the possibilities. I was then able to solve the problem without an expensive tow or repair cost. He couldn't have been more helpful even though his wallet would have been better served if I'd had it towed in. Good man.

We have a 2003 Honda Civic that is still in good shape/low miles, but the CD player went bonkers and my wife liked the keyless entry/remote start my son has on his car, so...I looked around on Angie's List and picked this place based on members' reviews.
I had other plans for the day that fell through, so I decided to get this stuff off my to-do list, and showed up without scheduling an appointment right around opening time on Saturday. I wanted to call ahead to see if they took walk-ins, but decided to hit the road before they opened since it was about 40 minutes away from where I live. I half expected they would be booked for the day, and would not be able to do the work, but I figured getting there first thing might help.
Bob and his folks are all down to earth. No hard-sell or other typical things that folks hate. Roger was the guy that showed me around, explained the features of the different receivers, and answered my questions. I picked my receiver (Alpine CDE-121) and alarm/keyless entry/remote start system (Viper 5104V), and Roger said it would take about 3 to 4 hours to install everything, which I think is reasonable given the work involved. Since it was a last minute decision to go, I drove myself (braincramp) and had to sit around until they were done. I mentioned that I had to hang out and Roger said they had another one of their install folks coming in around 10am and they would do their best to get it done as quickly as possible. They were done right at the 3 hour mark, so I was real grateful for that.
They is a waiting room with a TV, a clean/nice bathroom, free wi-fi and coffee. For dog lovers, they also have a 'Doggie wash' in a low fenced-off area, which I guess is new since they were just putting up some signs about it. Makes sense for dog owners - get your car & pooch washed at the same time. There's also a dunkin' donuts and a few fast-food places a short walk from the place.
I want to include a bit more info on what I got for my money, since I think it might give folks a better sense for why I am really happy with the service/price. Everyone in my family has an iPod, so I wanted to make sure I bought a receiver that an iPod could connect to. After they were done with the installation, I picked a playlist, set my iPod to shuffle and plugged it in to the receiver. The receiver automatically detected that the iPod was connected and started playing as soon as I turned the power on. Once you plug the iPod in, you use the receiver to change songs which is also cool, so you don't have to fiddle with the iPod when you're driving. The receiver also chargers your iPod while it is connected, so you don't need to plug the iPod in separately, which is nice. It also plays MP3 CDs, which is good for folks without iPods, because you can dump a lot more songs on a CD in MP3 format instead of having to burn them in a regular music CD format. You can even shuffle the songs on the MP3 CD, using the receiver so you don't have to play them in the order that they are on the CD.
I tried the remote start from the second floor and it worked from a good distance. I also tried it from the porch into the garage to see if it would get through and it also worked fine, but after I thought about it, you shouldn't do that in case a kid or the dog/cat are in the garage (you never know). I nudged the car a number of different ways, tried opening the door, etc., and the alarm went off consistently so that appears to be working fine as well.
I expected to pay more than I did for this package, and when Roger was ringing me up, he was discounted everything, and brought the overall price down to $760, which I did not expect or ask him to do, so that was a nice ending to a good experience.
I would definitely recommend this place, and will definitely use them again in the future.

I looked up information for my daughter. She called and was told she could bring car in same day. With much clarity he carefully explined what haD TO BE DONE. Fantastic service. They installed a NAV system motion detector override that I purchased online. (The detector prevents adjusting the NAV/GPS BlueTooth, etc., while the car is moving and is annoying; a device made by PrestigiousSociety defeats the detector). Bob told me that it could take 3 or 4 hours to install and I might have to leave the car overnight. I was amazed when he called an hour later and said the car was ready! I was expecting to pay for several hours of labor and was out of there for a third!! Great guys; I've had other things done there before.

My car stereo suddenly went to static on the radio but I could play CDs just fine. So on to Angie's List I went looking for a local auto stereo repair service. Turns out Bob Bother and his shop were close and had good reviews. When I arrived at the shop, Bob himself was there to greet me and we went right out to my car where it took him less than a minute to diagnose the problem. I thought I would have to make an appointment to come back for the work to be done but he told me to pull right in to the shop and he would have it fixed right then! Turns out my FM module had given up the ghost and I would need to replace the entire unit but as luck would have it, there was a clearance going on and I got a nice new Pioneer unit for a great price. Bob's son took care of all the details and arrangements and I was on my way in less than an hour with a brand new unit installed. And Bob and his son were a pleasure to deal with: courteous, helpful, knowledgeable and cheerfull! And Bob took the time to sit in the car with me and review the controls and features before he sent me on my way.

I have used Soundz good in the past and will continue to, they did a excellent job as always. They installed a in dash navigation unit, remote start alarm system, amplifier, door speakers and sub into my new dodge ram. Additionally they tinted the windows and installed leather interior. Robert was even able to beat the online prices for some of the equipment. I highly recommend sounds good for all your auto customizing needs..

I had bought a new range rover and wanted a few added features but dealer prices were crazy high so I went to soundz good to see what my options were. They were able to install all the factory components at less than half dealer prices as well as build me a custom fiberglass subwoofer enclosure that looks like it was always there. All the staff is very knowledgeable and skilled at there trade. This is not your typical stereo shop they have been in buisness for a long time and it shows in the quality of their work. I highly recommend soundz good for all your auto customizing needs.

I could not be more pleased with this company. In every aspect they under-promised and over-delivered. I spoke with the owner on the phone about getting a DVD system for my minivan and he said he could install it the next day. I brought my minivan in, the owner examined the car and asked all kinds of questions to ensure the system met my needs. He even asked about the age of my children so that I could get the appropriate wireless headphones. When I left him the car overnight the owner drove me back to my house (something completely unnecessary) but much appreciated. The next day the car was finished ahead of schedule. The quality of the install and craftsmanship was outstanding. I have no idea how they hid the wires and returned the ceiling to new condition. I expected some small imperfections but this install was flawless. The price for the install was less than half what Best Buy charges and the install is guaranteed for the life of the car (talk about standing by your work). I commend this business for their flexibility -- most customers there had fancy cars with complex stereos, not exactly the minivan crowd with kids like me. The entire staff was friendly and helpful with my kids. Because this install went so well, I'm thinking of bringing one or both of our cars back for a remote start in time for our cold Chicago winters.
