Whenever I hire skilled professionals to perform any type of work on my house, I like to watch them, asking questions, to both gain a better understanding of the mechanics of my house and to observe how the jobs are performed. It was obvious that Sound Plumbing was very professional and focused on detail in order to ensure the job was accomplished accurately, yet efficiently. The workers seemed highly knowledgeable and skilled in their craft. I made a good decision hiring Sound Plumbing, and would use them again, if needed, and recommend them for a guaranteed job well done.

They did great work. I like them so much I don't want to tell anyone how good they are. I had a few bides on the job but I did not get a good first impression from any of them. They ended up being a pleasant surprise.

Willing to work with me as somewhat of a micro-manager--meaning patient with me as I wanted to understand the process. Accurate estimating and final costs. No surprises or mission creep. Very well. I bid the relatively simple work to particular contractors from this site, and Sound was very competitively priced. I could tell it was no-nonsense (unlike some other bidders that were more available but quoted over 2x as much!) so they easily won the bidding portion. While scheduling was slightly difficult, I think that is okay when it is a small team that doesn't overpraise. The repairman coordinated well with my tenant on day of installation, and their work was satisfactory. The technician even helped with a couple of drain sediments in the sink and dishwasher lines, which wasn't in our original scope of work. They left it clean and functional, and didn't rush to bill. I would've paid on the spot but knowing they don't shove a bill in your face shows that they are organized and care about relationship first. Kevin and his team have earned a bigger chunk of my future business, because I know Sound will quote fairly and openly.

These guys are really solid, and they work hard to get it done all they way.

We originally found Kevin on Angie's List shortly after purchasing our first home. After interviewing other plumbers, we selected Sound Plumbing because of their professionalism and reasonable prices. Since that initial meeting, we don't even think about calling anyone else, and Sound Plumbing has completed multiple jobs in our home. Kevin is always reliable, and does excellent work! It was excellent; it was really good. He was very personable and professional. He is a very trustworthy guy and I feel safe trusting my plumbing to him.

Kevin was able to make an appointment for the same day I called him, which I had hoped for but didn't count on. He was on time, straightforward and efficient. He explained the problem to me as well as how he corrected it. I mentioned some future work we're planning on, which he spent time talking to me about but didn't make me feel pressured or overwhelmed about what to expect. A good plumbing experience! This is an honest, personable, affordable, efficient and intelligent plumber. My slow kitchen drain stopped draining altogether one Friday. A friend suggested I call Kevin at Sound Plumbing and he was here the next morning at 9a.m. He arrived promptly and called from his truck to let me know he was here. He is very personable and explained what he was doing as he went along. He kept the area clean with a dropcloth and even replaced the rings between the pipes to create a better seal. He was in and out the door in just over an hour. This was a most pleasant repair experience. I would recommend his services!
