Description of Work: I certainly recommend them for anyone with stained glass work. My stained glass lamp was a small job but I was very impressed by the large projects they have. Very delightful and talented people to work with. I went to them from the recommendations on Angie's list and was very pleased with the work they did for me. Actually better than I expected!

Description of Work: Our house was built in 1900 and has intricate stained glass windows and doors throughout. Our front door had so many broken joints holding in the delicate pieces of glass, that every time it open and closed, the glass door would sway and shake. We interviewed a few companies that specialize in this lost art and were very impressed by Emily's expertise. She was timely, very easy to reach and professional. She patiently addressed all of our concerns and questions with regard to the repair of our stained glass door. She offered a very competitive cost estimate and promised to have it completed in the fastest amount of time. the work entailed taking the stained glass apart piece by piece (and there were hundreds of pieces), and soldering many of the broken joints. Cleaning and re-glazing the glass, putting it all back together and adding some support beams to prevent further swaying. She stuck to her deadline and competed the work within the price quote she gave us. We were extremely happy with the quality of the repairs she made and our door seems as strong and secure as it once was originally. If you have antique and precious glass work around your home and strive to maintain it like we do, you can trust Emily and her team at Solstice to get the job done right.

Description of Work: They created a style appropriate three panel stained glass window to replace missing windows on my 1880’s home.

Description of Work: I wanted to replace an ugly glass block window in my front hall, and decided on stained glass. They worked with me on the design, cut the glass I chose from their selection, built the window and oversaw installation.

Description of Work: Restored vintage stained glass windows, including replacing cracked glass, replacing some lead, cleaning and glazing. She found vintage glass that matched perfectly. She undid damage from a previous restoration in which mismatched glass was installed.

Description of Work: SOLSTICE REMOVED TWO 100-YEAR-OLD STAINED GLASS WINDOWS FROM MY HOME. THE WINDOWS WERE THOROUGHLY PHOTOGRAPHED, THEN COMPLETELY TAKEN APART, CLEANED, REPAIRED, REGLAZED AND REASSEMBLED, THEN REINSTALLED IN MY HOME.
