SOAP & SUDS CLEANING SERVICE

First, I hired them because they did the move-out cleaning of my condo and I thought they did a nice job. When I called to hire them, Claudia bad-mouthed to me the woman from whom I bought my condo, telling me they argued about price and that she refused to pay her what she wanted to charge. I thought that was pretty unprofessional, but I did like the cleaning job they did so I hired them anyway. Most visits the cleaning was thorough; however, one time they didn't mop the floors at all--it was obvious. I called Claudia and she told me she had a subpar employee that she would be firing. My problem with Soap n Suds was not the cleaning so much, though, as Claudia's professionalism (or lack thereof). Examples: I gave her my credit card # to charge each month. My bank called me to tell me my number had popped up on a "possible fraud" list so they had to cancel it and send me another card with a new number. Claudia called me when my card didn't go through and I explained the situation and said I would call her as soon as I had the new # from the bank. I tried several times to call her (that's another thing--no one EVER answers the phone) but I did not want to leave the # on an answering machine. By the time she called me back and we could actually talk, she said she was going to charge me a $10 late fee! I was appalled and told her as much. She then got snippy with me and we went back and forth about the late charge and she finally agreed not to charge me for it. I was still willing to work with her but for my last appointment, May 6, they just simply didn't show up. I called and e-mailed that day and when I finally reached Claudia, she said only, "I'm not cleaning your condo anymore, I am too unprofessional for you." and hung up on me! I couldn't believe it. I am glad she is doing so well in this economy that she can afford to alienate her customers. I booked a new cleaning service and will never, ever use Soap n Suds again. This woman is angry,holds a grudge and talks about her customers to other customers. She could have given me the courtesy of telling me she no longer wanted to clean my condo but she just plain didn't show up. How unprofessional is that?

They move furniture, do what I ask them to do, really clean my house. Do not have any trust problems with them.

Arranged for them to clean our condo after we'd moved out. They did a great job, including inside the fridge, took special care with the newly-redone bathtubs, and large windows and mirrors.
