Very easy to work with and mindful of timelines.  Kept work area picked up.

They did it months after the promised date.  Put it up quickly in a slipshod manner.  They did not take account of the existing structure.  It did not line up with the existing basement stairs, so we had to replace them. One of the supports came down into an existing sidewalk in a very ugly way.  They did not tell us ahead that these faults would happen or take any responsibility for them.  We ended up paying a lot to someone else for cement work.  They left an existing porch ceiling light hanging by its cord.  They asked us to get our electrician to fix it because they did not have a handy electrician and we understood they would adjust the price, but they didn't.  When we tried to negotiate with them to adjust the price for some or all of these things, they threatened to put a lien against our building if we didn't pay the whole amout; our management company advised us to pay.

I have used J Sitko Construction for over ten years and wouldn't use any other company for remodeling work.  The prices quoted are always fair and the work performed is superior to any other company.  I would recommend (and have many times) them to anyone looking to do any type of remodeling work.

The were prompt, they were professional, we paid them in cash after completion, but they never returned our calls when we noticed a problem.

Initial job was good, but the floor buckled less than a week after due to heavy rain. Jack came and attempted to repair it promptly after I called. However, the repair was poorly done and the floor has waves in it which were not there before the work was done. Jack, while slow to respond (several months), reduced the price because the house was painted in the time it took for him to get back to us. He is decent to work with if you can get hold of him.

Overall, this company was excellent. The quality of their work was very good. They had great responsiveness, and were very professional. I have recommended this company to other people and I would use them again.

Overall, this was a much better experience than we've had with most other contractors, and better then what we expected. Everyone in the building was happy with the quality and Sitko's team was efficient, and they got started they were also very easy to talk to. We appreciated the payment plan too of course.

The cost was way to much for the roof deck, but they did do a great job with the re-roof. They have a great contractor, Jack and Mike, and they are both very good at communicating what's going on and how billing works. They are always in communication with you.
