Highly recommended!! Salvador and his team were amazing---from the constant communication with Maria to meticulously placing each paver. Water management was our #1 concern. Salvador was very knowledgeable/experienced in this area and was flexible with our vision but provided straight feedback when he had concerns and even proposed better suggestions than we had imagined. Salvador’s care, attention-to-detail and pride in his work is second to none---and this is reflected in the beauty of his craftsmanship. We live on an alley so our patio project became the neighborhood entertainment for the week. We received so many compliments from neighbors and some neighbors were so impressed they even signed up Salvador to redo their patios! Thank you, Salvador! We are so happy with our new backyard and can’t wait to enjoy it all summer!! We look forward to working with you on future projects.

I couldn't be happier with the service I have received from Salvador's Landscaping over the past 2 years. I live out of state and rely on them for bi-weekly lawn maintenance at a home that I rent out in Chicago. They are responsive to emails which is important to me as I don't live in town- getting back to me usually in 24 hours or less-, are priced fairly. and are honest. Every time I go home and see the condition of the property I am always impressed with how well kept everything is and with the thorough job they do for spring and fall clean ups. I would highly recommend them!

We wanted to thank Salvador's company, everyone, for being outstanding.
Our lawn was in terrible shape when we turned it over to Salvador several years ago.
I've seen his men do things that were extraordinary, such as turn off their mower as an elderly woman passed by.  They are always on time and always work very hard.
We are going to turn our backyard into a garden and also redo all the landscaping in front, because they are that good.

iSalvador's Landscaping always responds quickly and professionally to my requests and inquiries! I've been using them for the last year to maintain my rental property lawn and landscaping. I live out of state so I really rely on my service providers to be honest with me, do the work they day they are going to do and in a timely manner. Salvador's landscaping is reliable and every time I am back in town I am happy how things look and it is clear they are doing a great job!  Also his price is very reasonable!  He comes every 2 weeks while most companies want to come every week which, for the bulk of summer in Chicago, is simply unnecessary. Great job!

Received an estimate in early April to resod our backyard.  We accepted the proposal and they told us that they would probably be able to schedule in May.  Knowing what we knew, we began another project that made it so that all of our deck furniture had to go onto the backyard lawn.  On Wednesday April 22nd, we received a voicemail and an email from Maria at Salvador's letting us know that they were scheduling our job for this week to be done by Friday the 24th.  She sent this email to my wife at 9:09am, and by 9:49am my wife replied that we had just started our deck project and needed to push the sod project back a week.  
So this morning, my wife left early to run some errands and came back around 1:30pm, and Salvador's had moved all of our deck furniture onto the small patch of sidewalk on the side of the backyard and were finishing up the sod.  I just got off of the phone with Maria who says both that she didn't get the email from my wife and that they don't typically read or respond to email for days.  She said we should have called.  But that makes no sense because she emailed us.  
Salvador said that it was ok to walk on the lawn, which we'll have to do because now there's no other way for us to get between our house and our garage for the rest of this week.  But we're angry about this.  I really don't believe that the email didn't reach them because it was addressed correctly to [email protected].  I believe that they ignored it or didn't read it.   The fact that they relied on email to give us information meant that they should be relied on to read theirs in a timely fashion.

Outstanding work, fine design and great work ethic.

They are very great. They make sure that we got our dogs out of the way, and that they make sure that the gates are closed.

Every project that Salvador has done has been perfect. It's important to Salvador that the client is happy, and he really is a perfectionist. Plus, he's a very sincere and kind person. We are so happy to have worked with him, and will continue to hire him for projects.

Excellent! The crew showed up on time , worked hard and Salvadore was easy to work with as I had specific ideas. He did a remarkable job, very finished, and professional. It looks great!

I can't say enough great things about Salvador and his team. They were prompt, professional, and did a fantastic job for a reasonable price. The quality of the planter was excellent and our yard looked beautiful after they were done. Highly recommend!

Frankly, I'm hesitant to write this review because I'm afraid Salvador will get even more popular, causing him to become less available. Salvador's is really the best-kept secret in landscaping. The owner, Salvador, always shows up to review a job and speak with you before work starts. He's not very talkative, and don't expect a sales pitch or an elaborate design sketch. But you can expect him and his crew to work very hard, do quality work, and do everything at an AMAZING price. Plan ahead if you want work done, because he's often booked months in advance. But he clearly does his best to get the job done as soon as possible. For example, this summer I asked him to mulch and weed our backyard. He was booked for weeks, but his assistant (and wife?), Maria, promised me he'd do his best to fit me in. A couple of weeks later, on Memorial Day, in 100+ degree heat, Salvador and just one other guy showed up and did my entire lawn. I was stunned and thrilled.

I started using Salvador's Landscaping in May 2011. Initially, Salvador came out to my house and gave me an estimate. He was very pleasant and explained to me the variety of services that they provide. I was in desperate need and luckily they were able to start my service within the week. I was very pleased with the price and had not found a better price for weekly lawn care. Since then, they have been to my house every week, weather permitting. They are always here on the day they are scheduled and my lawn always looks great. I am very happy with the price as well. In addition, I had some rose bushed installed in July 2011 and they are still beautiful. My roses are still growing and look fabulous. I was also very pleased with the price for the rose bushes. I was very pleased that Salvador recommended these roses for me because I had explained to him my need for low maintenance flowers. These definitely meet my request for low maintenance. Overall, I am very pleased and plan on using Salvador's in the future for my landscaping needs. I hope to be able to expand my flower garden next year and plan on working with Salvador to design a beautiful garden.

Perfectly! I had noticed Salvador's work in a public setting, with landscaping he did for a church and for another yard, and was impressed. His focus is on the north side and select suburban neighborhoods, due to where his crew is located. He noted that February is a good time to start scheduling his services for design layout discussions prior to spring planting, and he does landscaping for both homes and businesses. I will post photos of some of his work as the snow melts and plants begin emerging.

I was very impressed with the work that was done by this company. They come every week on time and leave a great finished product. I would recommend them to anyone. They are pleasant and trustworthy.
