Do not recommend at all. Here’s my story of continuing pain with this company: 1. Firstly, the installation was done over a month later than committed. Ruiz claimed this was because of a delay from the manufacturer. I have no way of verifying this - I asked for the order he placed with the manufacturer multiple times and never got a response. 2. Second, one of my two motors was of poor quality and extremely noisy. Ruiz promised to replace this. He even showed me a shipping order from the manufacturer with a free replacement. But after over 6 months of follow up with Ruiz, he keeps making excuses for why the motor cannot be replaced. 3. Finally - and this is the last straw or I would not be posting: Ruiz gave a 7 year warranty on parts and installation but has done nothing to meet the obligation. My main door - which cost a ton - jammed completely within 6 months of installation. Despite repeatedly asking Ruiz to come and take a look, he kept making excuses. Finally, the door got stuck and I had to get an emergency repair done at night for $400 with another company. The technician from the other company told me that the initial install was very shoddy and that the whole door could have collapsed if I hadn’t called them in time. While this assessment may or may not be accurate, the fact remains that the overall service from Ruiz was extremely poor.

I've been waiting almost 4 weeks for Eric to complete my garage door opener install. He's been promising to come and repair/fix the problem every day for the last 4 weeks but never shows up. I'm not waiting any longer. I'm calling another installer to come and fix the problem and do some additional garage door work. I'm sorry now that I gave him such a good tip. Such a terrible way to do business. If you do buisness with him, make sure you get the owner's manual and receipt - which he didn't provide to me before taking off. Don't expect fast service if you have any problems. I'm only giving 2 stars because he did do a good job installing the openers, but the after service was absolutely terrible.

Everything was handled professionally. The project was completed, the garage works wonderfully and Ruiz explained everything so I had a full understanding of how to operate it. He was on time and conscientious.

Garage door is very heavy and had been operated by very large coil springs, one of which had broken. Ruiz arrive promptly as scheduled and managed to change the lift to a much smaller and more efficient system at very much less than the cost to simply replace the broken spring, as quoted by another company. I am very happy with this new system and extremely impressed by Ruiz Garage Door for their professionalism, knowledge, efficiency and courtesy. I highly recommend them for any garage door repair or replacement services.

Work went extremely well: professional, efficient and engaging owner-tradesman. Door works well and cost was far less than it would have cost to replace the old heavy duty spring alone. I highly recommend Ruiz Garage Door.
