It was a terrible experience, and we had to terminate Rudek's services before the job was complete. Supervision of sub-contractors was unacceptable, and we got shoddy workmanship on all accounts as a result. While we might rehire his masonry and electrical subcontractors directly (their work would have been OK if it had been properly checked and coordinated), we have had to hire another general contractor to undo/redo most of the work. Meanwhile, we are out most of the money we paid, and cannot get an accounting to try to reach an equitable settlement. We have reported this to the Better Business Bureau, and if the contractor does not respond reasonably, we may be forced to sue him.
