Best moving experience. Roy's guys that moved me were very friendly and processional. They took great care of my items (wrapped everything). Roy checked in with me a couple times before to make sure we were all lined up, which was great comfort. Anyone need to move- hire them! They are great! I needed a few things "special" and had no issues with changing things last min and doing that request for me. They move our entire house from Highland Park to McHenry in two days. You will get personalized service and a fair price.

Professional, conscientious, easy to work with, fast, and most importantly, did not charge over their estimate! NO SURPRISES! I especially like the way this company works. I provided an inventory over the phone and they gave me a quote that would be within a small window. They do not nickel and dime you with travel fees, hourly fees, etc. They are aware that everyone forgets some items when they provide a list of what will be moved so they provide a small window of what your final cost will be. Of course I forgot a couple larger items and still, my final fee was within the range they provided on my call. In the past I've gone over the estimate and it was surprising how all those little fees add up. With Roy's there are no fees, just a bottom line quote they honor. Will be recommending and using again!

I called  11 different movers to get an estimate to move my daughter
from one apartment to another, but we had a 5 day delay from leaving the
old apartment to moving into the new one.  Half of the movers said they
couldn't do it, they were just too busy. Several of the others were
just too expensive to move a one bedroom apartment. They wanted
$1,200-$1,800 plus self storage fees (it was two moves, because of the
delay between apartments). All the movers were nice and polite to talk
to ( I used Angie's List to make my list of 11 reputable movers to call). Roy's
guys Jay, Mike and Steve were great, fast and very careful with my
daughters things.
Roy is lucky to have these caring, careful,
responsible, and hard working guys. I would trust these guys with my
possessions any day.
Roy gave me the quote on the phone for both
moves $450 + $375 = $825 cash and that is what they charged ( they don't
take credit cards or checks - I don't blame them)
I set up the
storage at Uncle Bob's Self Storage at 3626 N Broadway myself.. That was
another great experience (see that Angie's List review)
