+ -1 moreWhen I lost my job a year ago, Riggs was very patient and said I could pick up the mailbox whenever it was convenient for me. I'd say to wait a year for me to finally pick up the mailbox was more than patient. Riggs is a man of integrity and very talented to say the least.
Description of Work: I commissioned Riggs Bar of Riggo Design to fabricate a mailbox out of metal. He told me if I could draw it he could build it. Well, my drawing capabilities leave a lot to be desired but Riggs got the concept and was able to create a one of a kind mailbox.

+ 0 moreWe wanted a new mirror/coat rack for our entryway. Riggs discussed the primary functionality of the piece with us (how big did we want it, did we want a mirror, how many coat and quot;hooksand quot;, etc)...and then presented us with a few different options (drawings) to choose from (a very consultative process). He knows we're huge Cubs fans (living near Wrigley) and we normally sit in right field...so he transformed a coat rack into a custom/functional piece of artwork that truly represents the personality of our home. We love his work and you will be thrilled with it too. Also, as a further testament to the qualify of his work...he was the featured local artist on an episode of HGTV's and quot;Meg's Great Roomsand quot;
Description of Work: We have used Riggo Design for a number of projects in our home. Everything he does is custom, one of a kind, functional artwork. So far, he has designed a custom table for our entry hallway, a "Wrigley Field" themed coat rack and sunflower wall sconces for our kitchen.

Riggo Design offers the following services: I design and build custom steel furniture and furnishings. I focus on tables, seating, accents and wall art although I'm not limited to those categories. If you have a dream piece in mind and just can't find it anywhere, we should talk. I work in mild steel because I prefer it's characteristics and appearance. I clear coat all my pieces to resist rust. I deliver my pieces throughout Chicago and surrounding suburbs and ship everywhere else.
Everything I make is handmade, I do not offer computerized cutting or on-site welding.
