We had Reveal Design help us with our patio this past summer—not only did they do a great job with the installation, but the whole process of working with them was professional and enjoyable. We worked directly with Sean, and he responded in detail to the numerous questions we had about the overall project. He considered all of our issues and budgets carefully and offered honest opinions and solution-oriented suggestions both during the design process as well as the patio execution. He was very collaborative and helped us to feel confident that we were making the right decisions for our situation every step of the way. An the end, Sean even took the time to make sure that we understood how our new lighting transformer worked and showed us how to set the schedule for our lights. We would definitely recommend Sean and his team and hire them again.

We have been working with them for months and he is fantastic. It has been a very impressive project that has gone on for months. He has been punctual, communicative and involved. It was not an expensive project.

Overall, Sean and team did a great job and I would highly recommend him to anybody. I wish the job would have completed a bit quicker, but on a project this large there are many moving parts and then of course you have to deal with Mother Nature. Sean is a perfectionist, which is why I hired him. A perfect example of this was my chosen countertop looked different than I had anticipated, and I questioned him to ensure they got the right piece of quartz. They did, and it just happened to look different as a large piece as opposed to a small sample. Sean offered to rip it out and replace it if I wasn't happy. I didn't do that as it still looked great, but I was impressed at his desire to ensure I was happy with every detail. Sean's crews are great as well...All of them were professional and friendly. Sean was also always very accommodating with my frequent change requests that I made along the way.

After reviewing several companies, we hired Sean and Reveal Design to do the landscaping of our front yard and parkway of our new home.  We made it challenging for Sean as we told him the design needed to incorporate a five foot tall Buddha statue, a stone Japanese lantern, and about 1,300 lbs of river rock that we already owned and were moving from our previous home.  Sean did an amazing job coming up with a beautiful design that incorporated all these features and is easy to maintain.  Sean's crew did the first step of building a custom pile for the Buddha to sit on (the statue weighs about 1,500 lbs), and then executed the rest of the build exactly to plan.  Planning and communication throughout the process was excellent, and the final outcome exceeded our expectations.  We are looking forward to working with Sean again soon on our backyard and roof deck -- we can't wait to see what ideas he comes up with.  If you love clean design and excellent use of materials and space, give Sean at Reveal Designs a call -- you won't be disappointed.

it went very well.  sean is an excellent business owner and designer, his crews are prompt, friendly and competant, and when something is unexpected or goes wrong (and something always does with a big project), he was great at resolving the situation. his crews are very customer friendly as well.  the one glitch was that his planter resource was not very good (capital gardens).  they were VERY slow and their customer service was awful.  we decided to go with a difference source and it worked well.

They are good.  Sean is a very detailed person and very easy to work with.

Very satisfied with  the work provided by Reveal Design on transforming our dust bowl back yard into an aesthetically pleasing and practical yard (for our dogs) via the installation of pet turf.  Reveal Design workers were very  personable and efficient  and went above and beyond the installation of the turf by reworking the garden space in our yard.  Would highly recommend Reveal Design for your landscaping needs.

Prior to this project, our back yard had a large deck with a hot tub which was removed and replaced with the Reveal plan.  After spending a great deal of tie inquiring about our needs and assessing our design asthetics, Sean presented us with two different drawings (both of which were fabulous).  Once we selected a design, he provided us with his recommendations for plants and trees thoroughly explaining the reason for his recommendations and providing  photos of what the mature plants/trees would look like.  We specified that we wanted planting that were maintenance free and now after having lived with the landscaping for over two years
I can truly say that we have invested very little time and money in maintenance.  Sean serviced our landscaping with spring/fall clean-ups and irrigation maintenance.  All the work was done in a professional manner and using high quality materials.  When minor glitches did occur, we found him to be an excellent problems solver and everything was done to our satisfaction.  Our real estate agent indicated that the addition of the landscaping to our home probably increased the value of the property beyond what we paid for the work so we were even more delighted!

It was a positive experience.  They were very friendly.  There was minor issue in the final design due to a miss measurement but they took care of it and made it right and I was very pleased.

The overall project ended up being more then we could afford at the time so we just ended up paying for the architectural drawings to use in a future date.

The design was excellent and they worked with us to modify it to our specifications.  The installation was done promptly on the agreed uppon schedule and done wiith quality materials.  Sean the owner gave us excellent service and came back several times to make sure everything was in accordance with the plan and that we were pleased with the work.  
I cannot recommend this landscape firm enough for their price, their respsonsiveness and the qualityy of their design and the implementation.

We met Sean through his work as a designer for Chicago Specialty Gardens in 2012. He put together a great design (including furniture) for a patio space which CSG installed. He remained our contact person throughout the process and also oversaw the installation as an employee of CSG. He was very friendly and responsive through the whole process. We gave him some ideas, and he came up with a design that we liked very much and required almost no tweaking. (Another design/landscaper that we met also had a good design, but it exceeded our budget and was ~50% more expensive.) 
Sean really came through for us 9 months after installation. We emailed CSG's president about a leak in the irrigation, which we felt would be an easy fix at the faucet line. The CSG president blew us off and said we violated our one year warranty by flushing out the lines of the system on our own (which we did not - he actually did this service for us). Sean came to see us on his own time at a convenient time for us, identified the problem, and fixed it (for no charge). We are happy to refer our friends to him and wish him well on branching out from CSG with his own landscape/design company!

Very rarely do you get a unique combination of a professional business person and someone with an artistic vision. With Sean you get exactly that. We met with many design and construction firms before meeting with Sean. Once we spent an hour with Sean we knew immediately he was the right guy for the job. He got to know our taste and did an amazing job incorporating them.
During the construction process Sean was very accessible and responsive whenever we had questions. Furthermore, he always went above and beyond and didnt cut corners. One day we had an unexpected rain storm during construction and Sean was over with a WetVac cleaning up the area to make sure the rain didn't make a mess of the work area.
The best part of working with Sean is his pride in the work he does. He treats the area as his own and values true craftsmanship. We look forward to working with Sean however possible in the future.

I contacted Sean through a referral from a friend.  Sean was available immediately to look at the project and provided a thorough proposal within a few days.  I had already identified the supplier for the material we wanted from a lumber yard that was going out of business.  Even though Sean was not involved in that purchase and was yet to be engaged , he helped analyze the costs and provide good insight on exactly what we needed.  He also arranged the delivery with the supplier.  Once we had all the prices set, we engaged Sean and the work began soon after.  The first step was to demolish and dispose of the existing wood deck.  Sean arranged for the new material to be delivered as soon as the old deck was removed.   The install of the new deck occurred as soon as the weather allowed.  Sean made sure the weather was ideal for composite deck install (hot and humid so that the boards were installed at their largest size).  The carpenter put some great finishing techniques on the deck that make a  huge difference in the overall aesthetic.  Overall, the carpentry work on the new deck was excellent.  The deck was cleaned and all debris was removed.  Sean has provided some guidance since the close of the project as well.  
Sean and his crew cared about the final product and took time to make sure it was done right.  We will definitely be using them again for future projects.

Sean was fantastic to work with from day one. Not only did he provide us with the most detailed proposal and design plans, he actually listened to what we had in mind and created a design from there. Our back yard landscaping and paver patio turned out better than we ever expected. This was our first ever landscape project so it was extremely helpful to rely on Sean's expertise to take us through the entire process...step by step! He was very thorough and was in constant communication with us for the entire duration of the project. All in all working with Sean was a GREAT experience and we would most definitely recommend him to family and friends!

We met with Sean upon recommendation from a friend who he had built a rooftop for. He said he was in the area for another job and was able to come our to meet us on site that same day. I must say after meeting with a few other firms later,  we didn't realize how much of an undertaking a rooftop deck was. I certainly had no idea of the city codes and regulations. Sean walked us through it all and spelled it out very clearly to us in a language we could understand. He was very knowledgeable of the city codes and told us our installation options based off of those codes. We asked and he gave us accurate rough budget #'s to think about.
After the initial meeting, Sean emailed us with a design proposal, as he stated he would do at the meeting. We reviewed the quote but wanted and got two more design quotes from two other companies I found online. Reveal Design's proposal to design the deck was right in the middle of the other two quotes, however we felt most comfortable with Sean.  We both felt he was the most knowledgeable person, and actually listened to us when we discussed what we wanted. In the end we asked that he include a design for our front landscape too, and he threw that in for us at no extra charge.
After going through the design process (2 weeks) with rough budgets and then getting final design with final #'s, we proceeded to have Reveal Design install the back deck and rooftop deck. We are holding off on the landscape for now. Trying to get the condo association to go in on it with us.
I was very pleased with the plants he selected, and the materials. He provided us with a maintenance program if we would like him to oil the deck and trims the trees on a bi-annual basis. And he gave us the much needed shade we wanted on the rooftop. Now we can actually use it!
Overall experience was great and I would definitely recommend to any of my friends for rooftop decks or landscapes. He has a knack for design and gave use just what we were looking for in our limited budgets.
