They did a good. They know what they are doing. I would call them back.

I have used them before. They do tile roof work. They were expensive but they do high end kind of stuff with tile replacement. They did very good work. They were punctual. They were very professional. I will probably use them for some other work next year.

Quality of work was good and Bogdon provided good ideas and product recommendations. We did have to watch detailed work to get project wrapped up from 95 to 100% finished. Bogdon picked up all materials as needed and also cleaned up at the end of each day. Overall, very pleased with work and we plan to use him again.,

Scheduled start date was delayed approximately one week due to a last-minute family trip planned by Bogdan. Once the work began, we were very pleased. He worked everyday until the job was completed. His attention to detail is excellent. He cleaned up the work area every night before he left. We were very happy with the end product. Shortly after the job was completed, however, we noticed cracks in the grout. It took numerous attempts and almost two years of waiting, but Bogdan did finally come back and fix the problem. We are NOT pleased with the negative reports submitted by Angie's List on our behalf. A representative called and asked about our experiences with service-related companies. The only issue we had (albiet important) was the cracked grout. In the future, we will only contribute report information online so we are sure our feelings are properly conveyed.

Overall, we were very pleased with the two bathrooms. They get a lot of use. We have had some minor adjustments and Renaissance came back right away and fixed the problems. They showed up on time and completed the 2 big projects in a timely manner. I would definitely use them again for another remodeling project and I would strongly recommend them for anyone who is thinking about remodeling their kitchen or bath.

Bogdan was extremely easy to work with, communicate with, and I really felt that I could trust him. He is probably not the cheapest in town but he does absolutely quality work and really dedicates himself to your project and making sure that you are happy with it. Beyond the painting, he really went out of his way to make sure that he proposed some quality designs for cabinets and shelves to install in my bathroom and space in my bedroom. I'd recommend his work to anyone and will probably use him on any jobs I need done on my next condo!

We couldn't be happier with our choice. We picked Bogdan partially because his gave the most reasonable bid, but also because his personality and approach to the job reflected ours best. We didn't have a designer (kind of wish we did), so we were winging it. Bogdan offered really great advice, without attitude. In fact, there were a few times we didn't take his advice and wish we had. With the exception of a few isolated instances, any delays in the project were due to merchant error or our indecision, but Bogdan was very helpful and understanding when things weren't ready for him, which was often. A few times, he seemed to be out of touch and busy with other projects, but once we got him back, he was committed; keep in mind our project stretched on for 4 months! I don't think we knew up front that he was subbing out the cabinets and marble flooring, but everyone who worked on our place did a great job. Adrian, his electrician, was particularly kind and professional.

We called Bogdan for an offer and he came at the arranged time. He investigated our plans, brainstormed with us and came with suggestions. We delayed our initial date for starting the work and Bogdan was able to accommodate us. And he was flexible enough to adapt when we changed our final plans for the bathroom several times during the process. Initially Bogdan planned to have the job done in two weeks. It lasted three weeks before he finished it. It's our understanding that he wants to do things right rather than work sloppy and finish quick. He and his employee were friendly and they made an effort to work as clean as possible.

I was very pleased with Bogdan. He was very responsive and did an excellent job. Everything was completed as planned and the final product is very good. The final price was higher than original estimate, but I changed the project mid way through increasing the work and his increase was not unreasonable.

Very well. Mr. Niculescu was able to come do an evaluation of all the damage to each units bathroom. He was able to accommodate an owners schedule by coming on a Friday afternoon to locate the leak causing damage to the other units. Mr. Niculescu found the leak and came the next day very early to repair it. He then spent the rest of the day repairing the other 3 bathrooms. Each one had water damage to the ceilings, repairs included patching and painting. Also, some tiles had to be redone in each bathroom. All the work looked very good when completed. We will definitely use this company again if we have more repairs needed.

Bogdan did a great job on our bathroom. We gave him a ''12'' on a ''1-10'' scale. We were using higher end products & really wanted the bath to be luxurious. He did a fantastic job with placement of the pieces & suggestions. The workmanship is excellent. We wanted to be pretty involved in the project & he picked up on that right away & gave us frequent progress reports & options when we had a choice about placement. He solved some tricky electrical & plumbing issues too. He also was really careful in our home--they spread coverings on the floors in the morning & cleaned up after themselves at night so that we had minimal intrusion at night. They even cleaned up well after themselves after lunch, in the other bathroom they were using, etc. We felt completely comfortable with them in the house, felt they were completely trustworthy & respected our home, & made the whole remodeling as painless as it could be. We will use them again when we get ready to do another project.

I was very satisfied with the work done by Bogdan and his crew. The maple floors look beautiful. The frames around the doors and the new baseboard retain the "feel" of the woodwork elsewhere in the apartment. The work was done on time and Bogdan kept me apprised throughout the project of what they would do the next day. They took great care moving my furniture and left the work area neat. The work that they did also enabled me to properly close the closet door to the air conditioning/heating unit closet for the first time.

Bogdan was prompt in responding to phone calls and arrived on time to do the work. He was very sincere about his work, very helpful and respectful. The kitchen sink leak is a lingering problem and he has always been very patient about fixing it and giving it priority.

Renaissance did an excellent job. The bathroom came out even better than I had anticipated. There were some challenges with the tile work to overcome, but it turned out perfect. As with any remodeling project there are decisions and/or changes that have to be made throughout the project. Bogdan was able to come up with several ideas that both solved the problem and enhanced the finish product. I was concerned with the challenges that working in a high-rise pose, such as the long list or remodeling rules, use of service elevators, ect. When I was in the estimate stage, some other highly recommended contractors on this website grumbled about the lack of parking, the rules and scheduling of the elevator. Renaissance was able to complete the project with little or no involvement on my part with the building management/engineer once the work was underway. During the entire project I only had to take one day off work, which is something to consider when selecting a contractor.

Bogdan is great. Very friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. We had to remove the drywall half-way up the walls of our kitchen because of really bad pink tile throughout. They did a great job blending the new work with the old. The tile floor is beautiful. I can't stand sloppy work, and I'm very picky about all things visual. I was very, very pleased with their work. Planning on hiring them again for a bathroom remodel.

They are a father-son team, working very effectively and efficiently. They were doing the work themselves. Therefore, their service charge was much less than the ones involved with general contractors. They were very pleasant to work with. They kept us informed in every step of the way. They took their work very seriously. We are very happy with the quality of their work and their overall services.

Bogdon did an all around first class job. They were industrious without being intrusive and scrupulously careful about maintaining the house in good order. During the six full days they were doing the job, each evening the entire house was left in pristine condition. In addition to high quality work, Bogdon brought an extra level of creativity to the task. Using left over tiles, he finished the new laundry room with an esthetically pleasing and highly functional baseboard effect that we had not included in the bid specification. It is clear that he not only takes pride in doing a good job, but he also cares about doing a complete job. I will call upon Renaissance Remodeling for any subsequent work I might need.

THE WORKER SAID SEALING THE GROUT IS NOT A PART OF THE PROJECT. I SUPPLIED MY OWN SEALER FOR HIM TO DO IT. I HAD TO REDO IT AFTER HE LEFT. HE PUT IN LIGHTS UNDER THE CABINETS AND HE DAMAGED ONE OF THE CABINETS AND LEFT EXCESS WIRES AND PLUGS IN THE CABINETS. HE DRIPPED PAINT ON THE WALL AND HE WAS NOT GOING TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM UNTIL I MADE HIM. THE VINYL KICK PLATE FELL OFF. I LIVE IN A HIGH RISE CONDO AND THE WORKERS ARE TO STOP MAKING NOISE AT 5:00 P.M. HE DRILLED INTO A CONCRETE FLOOR. THE MANAGEMENT CALL TO SEE WHAT WAS GOING ON THE FOLLOWING DAY. WHEN I SPOKE TO HIM AFTER THE REPORT WAS FILED, HE ATTEMPTED TO JUSTIFY THE THINGS HE'D DONE THAT I HAD COMPLAINED ABOUT.

BOGDAN & HIS TEAM WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL, CREATIVE, & A PLEASURE TO DO BUSINESS WITH. HE IS TRULY PROUD OF HIS WORK, & SO IS VERY THOROUGH & MAKES SURE THINGS ARE PERFECTLY DONE. WE HAVE USED OTHER CONTRACTORS IN THE PAST BUT THIS WAS THE BEST EXPERIENCE WE HAD WITH REMODELING. HE WAS ALSO ON SCHEDULE WITH THE WORK & WAS DONE WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD FINISH. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND HIM FOR ANY REMODELING PROJECT.

IT WAS A PLEASURE TO WORK WITH BEAU DAN. HE HAS VERY HIGH STANDARDS, DOES FINE WORK AND IS CONSCIENTIOUS.

BOGDAN WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND TIMELY. THE WORK WAS DONE ON TIME. HE MATCHED THE FLOORING PERFECTLY. IT LOOKS AMAZING. I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE.

BOGDAN HAD POOR KNOWLEDGE OF STAIN COLOR AND WOOD TYPES (USING RED OAK W/O KNOWING THE LR/DR WAS WHITE OAK; WE LEARNED THIS AFTER THE FACT). HE WAS UNABLE TO PLAN THE PROJECT IN A WAY WHICH AVOIDED INCONVENIENCE & DELAYS (SUCH AS RESEARCHING IN ADVANCE THE BEST STAIN FOR QUICK DRYING & EASY APPLICATION). HE WAS UNABLE TO WORK NEATLY; HE MADE A MESS IN OUR HOME BECAUSE OF THE SAWDUST, AND IT WAS ONLY AT MY INSISTENCE THAT HE PUT UP PLASTIC COVERS TO PROTECT ADJACENT ROOMS AND FURNITURE. WHILE THE WOOD INSTALLATION WAS GOOD, IF MESSY, BOGDAN HAD DIFFICULTY APPLYING THE ''PASTEL'' STAIN REQUIRED TO GET THE BLEACHED OAK EFFECT; WHITE HAZE DEVELOPED IN VARIOUS PLACES, WE LOST CONFIDENCE AND HAD HIM REDO THE LARGEST AREA (LR/DR) IN A ''NEUTRAL'' STAIN HE SAID WAS EASIER TO APPLY AND WOULD COMPLEMENT THE STAIRS. IT DIDN'T; WE NOW HAVE STAIRS THAT LOOK WRONG AGAINST THE LR/DR, AS POINTED OUT BY EVERYONE WHO COMES BY. WE'RE HIRING ANOTHER COMPANY TO RE-STAIN THE STAIRS, AT ADDED EXPENSE.

BOGDEN WAS VERY RESPONSIVE AT THE INITIAL ENQUIRY AND INSPECTED THE SITE WITHIN 2 DAYS. IT WAS A RELATIVELY SMALL JOB AND HE MANAGED TO SQUEEZE THAT IN BETWEEN HIS BIG JOBS DURING WEEK. WE APPRECIATED THAT. HE HAS HIS OWN TEAM AND BOGDEN WAS THERE AT THE BEGINNING AND AT THE END OF THE JOB. THE JOB WAS WELL DONE AND WE ARE HAPPY WITH IT. HE ALSO CLEANED UP AFTERWARDS. IT WAS A JOB WELL DONE. I WILL CERTAINLY USE THEM AGAIN IF THE PRICE IS RIGHT.

THEY WERE VERY GOOD. DID EXCELLENT WORK.

BOGDAN, THE OWNER, WAS ALWAYS ON THE SITE AND THE JOB WAS PERFORMED WITH PROFESSIONALISM FROM MOVING ALL OF THE HEAVY FURNITURE WITH CARE TO ISOLATING THE WORK AREA WITH PLASTIC AND TARPS. THEY WERE ON TIME, HARD WORKING AND VERY HELPFUL. I WOULD DEFINITELY USE THEM AGAIN IN THE FUTURE.
