RECYCLING SYSTEMS INC

The company was very prompt in providing me a quote; they also delivered the dumpster later that same day. The charge was $340 for the dumpster and an additional $20 dollars to place wood under the dumpster to protect the concrete for a total charge of $360. The representative I spoke to on the phone looked a Google earth view of my property to see if there was room for the dumpster, we agreed it should fit on the front of my driveway (between the front of my house and the public sidewalk). They delivered the dumpster before I was home, and in the process caused severe damage to my driveway and the surrounding landscape. The driver apparently decided to put the dumpster in the back of the house all the way down my long driveway. The extreme weight of the truck/dumpster combination buckled nearly 70% of the concrete of my driveway and the wheels created a rut nearly 8? deep in my neighbor?s lawn (parallel to my driveway). As soon as I got home I immediately called the company to inform them what happened, the person I spoke with was rude and said there was nothing that could be done and that they had a liability waiver in place. The next day I found the ticket, with the ?liability waiver? stuck in my side door obviously unsigned by me. I called again the next day and asked to speak to a manager. This individual was extremely unprofessional and very rude and immediately accused of me making up the whole thing so I could get a ?free driveway?. I had no choice but to have them return and pick up the dumpster the next day (the damage was already done). I loaded the fence, had it hauled away, and paid for the service. The pick-up driver was very nice, and agreed that my driveway was far too narrow and that the delivery should not have been attempted in that manner as the truck had less than 6? of clearance on either side. Unfortunately, at this point I am left with a severely damaged driveway (likely $3-4k in damage) and no alternative but to pursue this matter legally which is presently underway.

My sister was moving out of her two story home, and needed to get rid of a lot of things. We called Recycling Systems Inc. and they brought us a large dumpster, and then hauled it away within hours of us calling for it to be picked up.
