Real-Green Underground Lawn

A little back and forth on the phone initially with setting up a service appointment but once they got here and established a maintenance schedule, the technicians were great.  Worked from outside only to turn off for winter.

The workers adjusted the valves, sprinkler heads, etc. Everything works just as it should.

Descibed this under services performed.  Polite and professional.

I discovered the leaks in the system this late spring and called the company. Within a week they were out at the home and made the necessary repairs

Good and bad. Judy was very prompt in calling back and arranging the appointment and we scheduled it for the very next day. Gus and Wally were 15 minutes early for the appointment. Things seem to be going great, right? They rigged the compressor to my spigot and began the process of blowing out the lines. On the first air pass, all went according to plan. All the heads rose, spit out the residual water and retracted fine. On the second pass, one of my sprinkler heads - nearest to the water/air source - that had been working perfectly fine (it's a new system, less than 3 months old) popped a sizable leak. Gus then said I had the ole hairline crack in the nipple problem but they'd fix it. Of course, this meant digging up a small section of my newly sodded lawn to get at the problem. Once they believed they had it fixed and reconnected they tried it again. This time the sprinkler head along with the elbow joint (which was below the supposed hairline crack) shot into the air about 15 feet along with a geyser of mud. Now it was time to blame the problem on the previous contractor and his inferior workmanship and materials. They ended up digging out a larger section of the lawn this time and digging down to the underground line, chopping off an inch of the line and re-clamping the sprinkler head to the line to stop the problem. It then seemed to work fine. I'm still pretty nervous about it since I watched them re-fasten the head to the line at a cock-eyed angle and then use mud and dirt to forcibly wedge the head into an upright position before trying to replace the sod remnants and finish up the job. If you have an in-ground system you've likely read all those materials about being very cautious when trying to use your own air compressor to do this job, lest an uninformed 'do-it-yourselfer' gets to watch his sprinkler heads shoot half way to Mars -- that was my experience here!! I give the guys credit for sticking around to work on the problem, but I also don't think they had much of a choice in the matter since I had a perfectly functioning, new, system only an hour before that.

They were enthusiastic friendly and honest. They were very responsive to any questions i may have had. They did a great job and i would use them again.

THESE GUYS DID GOOD WORK; HOWEVER, THEIR PRICING WAS HIGH AND THEY DID NOT SHOW UP ON THE DAY SCHEDULED NOR DID THEY CALL THAT DAY TO RE-SCHEDULE. THEIR EXCUSE WAS STORMS THE PREVIOUS DAY. WHEN THEY ARRIVED, THEY COMPLETED A DIFFICULT JOB AND DID IT WELL.
