1,320 sq. ft. of existing lawn replaced: removed old grass; disposal of old grass; rototilling of soil' level & grade soil; add starter fertilizer & new sod delivery and installation. The sod was installed in September 2018 & the weather was a little dry. Frequent watering and watering of the sod edges was necessary for the first two weeks. As of May 2019, the sod looks very good.

Very well. They came as contracted and helped me get through the summer as I could not do it.

I have used this service for over five years. They have never missed a week and are always very polite. The few glitches we have had have been quickly resolved. I tried several services before them and consider Rob's group to be the best.

Showed up on time for all service, and completed in reasonable manner. Used this service over 3 years. Lawn care was adequate. Problems began when damage would occur (ie concrete steps chipped by equipment, swingset tattered with weedwacker, random plants chopped) without any notice to us. Only when asked, then, the company confirmed the issue as true. If we had a question, 50/50 chance of getting a response. Not skilled in landscaping, only grass cutting. Rare to never, did the company interact with owner. If it was in the signed contract in March, that was your commitment in October.

Rob returned my call and got me a quote same day. Then he squeezed me in and the work was done in 24 hours! Excellent response and service.

The price that I paid for the service was too expensive. I just had my mother’s front yard done only. Our yard is probably six times as big as that and it cost us less to do that out here in the suburbs than it did there. They did a good job and I didn’t have any problems with them. They were fine except for their price. So that was the only problem.

Rob Montoya runs a professional outfit. Quality of work is excellent. The crews are conscientious in their approach to work. Prices are fair and discussed in advance, there is no surprise at the end of the project. He is available for discussions and is always present at the work site. I have referred Rob to other business clients.

They were professional and did a good job. They were pretty reasonable and weren’t that expensive. The quality of their work was good. We would definitely use their services in the future too.

Montoya has been very reliable. Workers show up every week and do the scheduled work. We have a tiny patch of yard in the front and a scruffy patch in the back -- it's small enough that they can do most, if not all, of the work with a trimmer. They also do seasonal lawn maintenance in the spring and fall -- aerating, raking leaves and the like. On occasion, we've asked them to add gravel or topsoil to an area and they've done the job promptly. I just wish they'd pull some weeds when they visit, especially given how quickly they're done with our lot. The price above is what we pay for standard weekly work. One other positive I should mention: They always remember to lock the gate when they're done -- I hear many stories about pets escaping because the lawn guy didn't close the gate, but they have always remembered.

I have been using Rob's landscaping service for several years and have always found them to be very professional. On this job, Rob removed the grass from a 4' X 7' area, rototilled the soil and worked in 4 bags of compost. He did edging around the garden and smoothed to the top to form a very attractive raised bed garden.

They do a good clean up for a small price. I think they are wonderful. They are super nice and extremely polite and smiling. I love the work they do. They do a lot of different kind of work but they are very nice about doing what I tell them to and if I tell them not to do something because of price they don't it. I have them do the fertilization a couple of times a year. They are great to work with and easy to contact. They are extremely nice and accommodating.

They also switch the kind of mower that they use in my back yard because of the size.

Rob, the owner, is wonderful.

I was, at first, pleased with the work Montoya did for me in the spring. As the summer progressed, I became very disappointed with them. Montoya resoded the lawn in two parts. The first part came in beautifully; the second part, I have now found out, is full of crab grass. Because they have glowing reports on Angie's List, I called them to look at the crab grass, and to do some additional work. Then I called them again. Then I called them again. I never received a response from them. In short, Montoya did not take responsibility for their work, leaving me in the lurch. From my perspective, they do not deserve the Angie's List award.

He is a terrific guy, he does good work and when we have questions he is responsive to them. I suggest contacting him through email, because he was difficult to get a hold of in the beginning.

Rob came out for a quote, his pricing was better than the other 2 I got. He worked with me on the timing of the project. Job was done very well. My complaint is that Rob does not respond to phone calls very well. I called him and left him several messages since that job for him to do another project at another building and have not heard back. Based on the lack of call back, I doubt I would give him more work.

Rob's crew is great. My lawn has never looked better. The weekly service is very dependable. I have requested additional attention to be paid to flower beds and bush trimming before parties and the men do a great job of sprucing up my yard! I have received many compliments on my grass!

I was thrilled with the results and will definitely use this company again. My neighbors hired this company based on the work they did in my yard. I felt the price was very good for the amount of work that needed to be done.
