"[Member Name Removed], terrible is what I would have labeled the service if it would have been another way to do this but there was no other way. We offered to load Microsoft office for you if you provide the license and we load Mozilla Firefox as a standard browser because we believe its better that chrome or internet explorer or edge. Recovering the data from an SSD is close to impossible and the price from our data recovery partner was astronomical. I am sorry that it did not turn out how you wanted and thanks for taking the time to write here - too bad that you did not accept our remote support team help. Florian"

Founder/CEO Florian Militaru has assembled a team of talented and knowledgeable IT professionals who clearly take pride in exceeding customers' expectations. Their repair service turnaround time is incredibly fast compared to other computer repair businesses I've dealt with, and their rates are very reasonable. But what really distinguishes PRO - Technology Professionals from the competition is the incomparable quality of their customer service. Florian and his techs speak plain English instead of uber-technical jargon to ensure that customers understand exactly what their computers need and do NOT need. These folks patiently answer customer questions and are genuinely just nice people to do business with. PRO - Technology Professionals is a platinum quality enterprise in my opinion and I won't even consider using another computer repair/IT support service.

I opened box and was very excited to see my laptop. Powered it on and it looked good. I started to use it and opened up task manager to see what was going on since it was running slower than before and saw large blotches on the white background, and while in task manager I noticed that laptop had half the ram it had when I dropped it off. I called their customer service, and I was told that they knew about splotches, but they thought they were "pressure marks" and would go away during shipping, which didn't make any sense since the laptop is a touchscreen covered in gorilla glass, but they offered me a credit to make up for the defective screen and missing memory. I accepted since I thought I could deal with the splotches and always add the ram later on. I went on vacation to florida and I thought I would add the memory to it, but I ordered 2 separate sticks of memory, and neither worked. And one night, while I was sitting there watching a movie, I noticed it looked blockier than before. I checked the resolution settings and the screen was now a 1920x1080 screen, but when I dropped it off, it had a 2880x1620 screen. I called back again and explained my justified frustation, and after consulting with their customer service, I was offered a $200 credit. I refused credit this time, as the laptop was useless to me now with only half the ram and almost half the resolution, and I wanted a full refund. At this point I was told that in order to receive that credit, I would have to "plead my case" to the owners via e-mail. Seriously. So I had to write down the WHOLE thing via e-mail and send it to the owners. The next day I was called back by support saying that my request for a refund was granted, but I would have to ship laptop back to them at my own cost, and they would not give said refund until they received the laptop and checked it over. A week later, they did finally issue me a refund, only it was $90 less than what was originally agreed to. I had to wait again while they verified the amount correctly.
Throughout the whole ordeal, I was never contacted by an "owner", never offered an apology, and every call I had to recount the growing list of things they had broken since nothing had been entered in the call notes. The only contact I had from the owner was when I shared this story on yelp, and his response was "sorry, but it won't happen again, and there's nothing I can do for you". They also proceed to blame a previous hard drive replacement repair for part of the issue, but even if they had spilled soda on the motherboard, how would that have been a factor since they were the ones that replaced the motherboard and screen with defective parts?
I have always turned to Pro Computers/Pro Technology Professionals when I needed real computer help. Adin Calkic, went above and beyond in ensuring that all problems were resolved and helping me get access to my files, calendar and email most efficiently and being able to Sync across multiple devices. As a working professional with 3 children, I just need things to work at times and Adin just made it so. No question was a dumb question. He was also really good at following up to ensure that everything was working out.
