It could not have gone better. A previous plumber had been unable to locate the pipe in the wall behind the faucet. Erik from Power Plumbing located the pipe right away and accessed it with a precise cut. He clearly knows what he is doing.

Erik called ahead of time to let me know he was on his way. Upon entering my home, he quickly put on his booties to protect my floors. He got right down to business, which is great since I was paying by the hour. He had an idea on how to clear the clog, but upon testing how clogged the pipe was, and listening to what I knew about the problem, he altered his plan and was able to clear the clog. He remained positive the whole time, and was confident he was going to fix the issue. I think he was conscious of the time such that he cleared the pipe and wrapped everything up so that I could be charged at just the one hour minimum. Erik, also took a few minutes to answer some general plumbing questions I had as well as showed me what I could do in the future, so I could take care of the problem on my own.

Levon, their plumber, showed up as scheduled and did a great job in replacing the faulty faucet, cleaning up, etc. The job was done neatly and very professionally despite the difficult location of the pipe. It took an hour and a half to complete the job. We would definitely use Power Plumbing again for any future plumbing issues and would highly recommend them!

So-so! When I called to set up the appointment, the entire conversation was focused on cost and efficiency. During the appointment set up, it was indicated that: 1.) I would be charged in 1 hour and 30 min increments. After the first hour, I would be charged for another full 30 mins even if the plumber only used 1 min of the next 30 mins. 2.) I must be available at 7:30 am the day of service to confirm the appointment and to be provided a better idea of the arrival window, otherwise I would loose my time allocation 3.) Service begins when the service truck arrives at my address and starts to look for parking (this is particularly concerning as the customer has absolutely no idea when the clock starts ticking) What actually happened: 1.) I never received a call at 7:30 2.) The plumber claimed that he arrived at my house at 10:15am, but I have a camera on the front of my house showing that he arrived at 10:27am. Not really a big deal but I was told that the clock stats ticking when the plumber starts looking for parking and that one minute is enough to charge me 30 additional minutes, so it's really just my word against the plumber's. 3.) The plumber didn't see anything that stood out to him as an issue. He was happy to leave and simply charge me for 30 mins. I preferred that he checked the wax seal that I had already replaced, in the event that I did not do it properly. 4.) I expected to pay close to $160 based on the time required to change a wax seal (I know because I did it) plus the cost of a wax ring ($10 at home depot) . My bill ended up being $300, which included a lot more "materials" than a wax ring. The plumber ended up changing me for 1.5 hours, a water supply line not because there was anything wrong with the existing one but because he thought I needed a copper nut and not a plastic one (I live in house not a high rise where pressure could be an issue for plastic nuts), replaced some screws; and charged me for 2 wax seals. He also took 3 different phone calls during the time that he was replacing the wax seal, which wouldn't bother me at all except that they charge by the minute and round up to 30 minutes if they are one minute over. Overall, he finished what he came to do and I was happy with the work, but I was overwhelmed by all the cost details,upset that screws and supply lines were replaced when there was absolutely nothing wrong with them, and I was charged for an extra 30 mins when he answered phone calls and claimed that he arrived 10 mins than he actually did.

Extremely professional. Took the time to explain to me exactly what they were doing. Went over the bill item by item so I knew exactly what I was paying for. Scheduling was easy and the two gentlemen who came to the house were friendly and knowledgable. They advised me that I did not have to have my catch basin cleaned out now but recommended that I do it in the next 2-3 years. Very much appreciated that suggestion. After they left, the sewer smell in the house was and is gone. I will definitely use them again.

Service was excellent! Levon came out and looked through everyone's unit and was able to find the issue. He was professional, knowledgeable, kind and flexible. Truly went above and beyond and even tightened some of our pipes in the basement and took an extra look at a separate issue in one of our units. We would highly recommend this company and will be using them again if anything else comes up.

If you do not mind getting nickled and dimed to death they will get the job done. We have parking and they charge for parking, they charge $5.00 for a garbage bag thank goodness we told him we had one. They charge you for the phone calls he takes and to write up the ticket.

It happened late on a Saturday afternoon in December so they were busy with many other broken pipes due to the cold. But they came withing 3 hours and had it fixed in 1 hour. Expensive due to the timing but anyone would have cost that much on a Saturday night.

We found out our ejection pump broke when foul smelling water backed up from the drain in our laundry room. Based on the reviews of other Angie's List members we contacted Power Plumbing & Sewer Contractors. Tony came out the very next day and spent four hours at our house replacing the pump and checking to ensure it worked. He also fixed the level in our toilet while he was there, we didn't even know it was broken until he pointed it out during his inspection of anything that would be using water on the lower level. Without a doubt I would use them in the future!

John worked quickly and diligently in a very tight space (in a closet on the other side of the shower), and eventually found the cause (corroded copper pipe). He then replaced it and got our whole house back up with the water running. He told us exactly what he was doing at every step and showed up the damage pipe and made sure we understood what had happened. He also referred us to a fire and restoration company which has great reviews on Angies List. The only reason I gave a B on the price was because it happened on a Sunday and it's double rates, which we knew about going in and it hurts!
